Good light
I do a lot of needle work, tatting, knitting and crocheting and this lite is perfect for me. I can adjust the intensity of the light plus it is a nice clear color so it does not distort the colors for my needle work threads that is close in color.

Good light, good value, good flexibility.
bought two of these as bedtime reading lights; overall, very pleased. As others have noted there is some instability in the base when you manipulate the light into certain positions. My husband plans to add a small weight to the bottom of both bases to handle the issue.

Small lamp, bright light
The media could not be loaded. This desk LED lamp has a flexible neck and is well balanced. The neck is very pliable and stays exactly where I position it. Unlike some lamps of this type it stays solidly on the desk no matter how the light is bent. The base is 6 1/4" x 3 7/8", and neck is 15.5", light panel is 6.5" x 2 3/4". It has 7 levels of brightness, and what I like is that the two end buttons allow me to quickly switch from the very bright to the very low without stepping through all 7 levels. In attached video I demonstrate all levels, as well as what a text in a book looks like under the light. The brightest setting is quite bright. The lamp runs from the AC power using an AC adapter. The cord detaches from the plug and can be used with external power batteries designed to power a PC (a large round adapter). I find this option very handy when I need light in a place which does not have a nearby AC outlet. This lamp produces good lightening. As all LED desk lamp the spot light is concentrated and only lights the area below the light. I hope the video helps you see the size of the spot light to determine if it is a good match for your use.I received this desk lamp Jebsen with a request to share my experiences with the lamp.Ali Julia review

Why the right choice of desk lamp is extremely important
Let’s start off with the summary to this review … this is not only my favorite of several desk lamps that I own, but it is the one I chose to use on my own personal desk. That was not a casual decision for me. Read on to learn why I like this one so much over all others.I am fortunate to have an office in which my computer desk is adjacent to a large bay window, with plenty of natural light. However, my desk is placed off to the side and I have always preferred a very soft fill-in light to reduce shadows and balance the transition between the light from the window and the light I require on my desktop to work. The lighting in my computer work area is critically important to me being a professional photographer and graphic artist in terms of color temperature, how much light falls on the computer screen, and the ratio of brightness between the computer screen’s output and the surrounding work area. I’ll boil all that down by saying I am very picky about the artificial lights I use in my work area, and I have often been disappointed by commercially available desk lamps. So I was eager to sample this new model which was provided for my evaluation.I have the Z3 placed on a shelf about 3’ above my desktop and slightly off to the left side. The placement, and the edge of the shelf, help keep any stray light from directly hitting my computer screen. By the way I have another, color-balanced, LED light mounted as a wall wash behind the computer screen. The Z3 provides an essentially even light across my entire desk surface due to the design of the built-in diffuser. Unlike practically every other light I’ve tried, there is absolutely no glare on my keyboard or the desk’s work surface. The light emitted from the Z3 is flicker-free and consistent no matter how long it is on.The feature I love about the Z3 (and per Amazon’s review policy “I love it” equates to 5-stars) is the touch sensitive built-in dimmer. Frankly I have tried other brands of lamps with touch-sensitive dimmers and they never work as expected. Because this lamp has a 7 step dimmer with a status light for each of the steps I can set the lamp to exactly the same brightness for every work session, critically important for photo retouching. What makes it better is that I can compensate for bright sunny days and dark cloudy days using the variable brightnesses available. When I work at my computer at night, the lowest brightness position maintains the same color temperature and has the same apparent brightness as my desktop during daylight hours. In other words my eyes soon forget that I am using artificial lighting.I also like that the Z3 has a red LED indicator to alert me that the lamp is on the off position but still receiving AC power. The look of the lamp is a perfect complement to my very contemporary workstation, finished in a matte white color that looks like something Apple might make. You can easily buy much cheaper LED lamps at Amazon, and this one is priced a bit higher than average. You definitely get what you pay for with the Z3. It is my personal choice and I consider it a best buy.

7 brightness levels and flexible neck that holds it's position quite well
The media could not be loaded. This is a review of the Jebsens Z3 desk lamp. I was provided a free sample for evaluation. This LED desk light has 7 brightness levels that are adjusted by a touch panel on the base. It works pretty well but it was sometimes a little finicky to get the brightness level I wanted when sliding my finger across the touch area. To turn the light on or off you touch the power on/off area. Turning the light off actually requires a sustained 2-3 second touch... you can't just quickly touch it to turn it off.The neck is flexible and that makes it easy to adjust this to your liking. I find that the neck stays put once you have it where you want it. Other gooseneck lights that I've used sometimes tend to droop after a while. This did not. This is powered by an AC adapter (100-240V, 50/60Hz.)The weight of the base could be a little heavier but other than that and the sometimes finicky brightness level control, it's a nice table/desk lamp.
