Active Ice Therapy System 2.0 with Lumbar Compression Wrap

I’m using this to keep my foot iced after surgery. It works great! Love the convenient 30-minute timer. Comfortable enough to keep the pad on continuously. Unlike an ice pack, this device pumps ice-cold water, so it doesn’t freeze my skin. Just be sure to keep the intake/out-take lines straight or it stops the water flow.

Worked ok for a while, but the control box on the side of the cooler began taking on water, to the point the timer and power wires began rusting. Then the water found its way into the wall of the cooler and began leaking out of the bottom through the "leak holes". Good idea, too much for the product and half-a$$ construction

This used to be an excellent product. However, they have now installed a 30 minute which makes it useless. Most people buy this for constant ice post-surgery, particularly at night. However, when you have to reset the timer every 30 minutes, it defeats the entire purpose. I understand that it cannot be on bare skin for extended periods of time. Regardless, many people come home from procedures with ace wraps and splints and need ice on top of those. For these purposes this simply doesn't work.Returned and purchased a Ossur machine. Works perfectly.
