The cut patterns are poorly randomized, which can lead to sections with similar coloring getting assembled, and looking like they fit unless you get a magnifying glass to see there's a little gap on one lobe. So, your struggle is not pattern matching, rather it's dealing with design limitations of the cutter-die used to stamp the puzzle. To help make up for this, the backs are marked in 6 groups, and there is a full-sized poster for reference.PROS:* Nice imagery* Dense, sturdy card stock* Comes with poster, front of box, and back of box images to help compare during placement.* The helper codes on the back are right to left, A, B, C and second row D, E, and F.* Connector interfaces hold fast better than some other puzzles.CONS:* Pieces near each other often have connectors that are too similar* The helper codes on the back are frowned upon by some assemblers.* 1000 pieces at the same size as many 500 piece puzzles are a little harder for aging eyes than expected.* Interface is not quite snug enough to keep these from waving around.

I absolutely love this puzzle! So beautiful and fun to put together. The letters really help for sorting the pieces and the poster helps you as a great visual aid. I completed it by myself over the span of about 3-4 days and I enjoyed every minute of it. I have another one by the same brand and I will be starting that one next. I how they have more to come! Definitely buy if you love puzzles.

Missing piece unfortunately.

the picture is very colorful and clear. it was a challenge to put together but that is what we like!

Enjoyed doing the puzzle and was upset that when completed one piece was missing. I liked that is had a photo sheet to refer to when doing the puzzle

Only way to really put together is using the color coded backside as all sides too similar. Not much enjoyment in that. But thick pieces and heavy coating will make a good trivia for table, so end product is useful.
