Woo hoo, I am celebrating! After 6 months on this AHCC supplement (3 grams which equals 4 capsules every morning on an empty stomach, then wait 1 hour before food or coffee), I just found out I am HPV negative!!! What a relief this is, thank God. Here is what else I took along with AHCC to strengthen my immune system: Green tea extract, methylfolate, beta carotene, vitamin D3, zinc, vitamin C, B complex and B12. Clean up your diet as well, lots of fruits and vegetables, avoid sugar and processed foods and use meditation and exercise to manage stress. Recovery is possible, don't give up!

I am excited to try this supplement. I am not sure if I can update this review again.I have taken it for about a month. I take as instructed and I have not had any side effects. Hopefully this supplement works its magic on me.

PLEASE READ First off, we’re in this together. Don’t be scared because you and millions of others are not alone in this, and you may be embarrassed, stressed, or downright scared. You can get control of this.AHCC has been proven to work by their OWN researchers and developers (google it). There’s no concrete evidence or studies from other reliable sources other than the companies that makes these.. located somewhere in Asia if I recall correctly and all are behind these different brands. Bottom line, I used this for years and then stopped for years and my HPV was dormant… I guess. Just 3 months ago, it was back with dysplasia. I purchased Kinoko Gold and Platinum (I only used Papillex one time) and I read how people on Reddit pretty much swear by AHCC but there’s no proof that it works… that’s basically saying we’ve all been getting lucky? Anyway.. I knew my follow up pap was in 3 months and I was facing a leep procedure. I didn’t want that.NOW PAY ATTENTION. Folate & B12, Zinc, and Green Tea have all been proven to help clear HPV. So I purchased EVERYTHING. I also purchased BETA CARATONE because some woman said her doctor suggested to just take that daily and not to waste money on AHCC at all. 3 months later, not 6 months but 3 months later, my pap is normal and no dysplasia. Will AHCC work for you alone? I have no idea. It either worked for me in the past or the Hpv cleared up on its own. But I’m ecstatic that my pap is normal 3 months later so…**FOLATE & B12 (not to be confused with Folic acid. Ppl confuse the 2) GREEN TEA or GREEN TEA PILLS, AHCC, ZINC, BETA CARATONE. Take ALL OF THESE DAILY in addition to AHCC.**I also take multivitamins sometimes, not every day. Vitamin C, organic oil of oregano which is anti viral and extremely good for you, probiotics and magnesium. I take all of this stuff on a full stomach thru out the course of the day. I just started taking some of the supplements I just mentioned. But the ones listed above, I took every one of those every single day for 3 months and I’m good so far. I also read some ppl saying that once they stopped taking AHCC, their hpv was dormant temporarily. So you may have to take them for the rest of your life. But hey, it may be worth it. It might work for you. Good luck and don’t ever feel discouraged or feel like you wasted money because at the end of the day, these are all things that’s still good for your immune system even if it doesn’t work or takes a long time to work. Build that immune system and speak with your doctor about taking these supplements if you’re unsure. Stay vigilant and God bless.

These mushrooms make you feel wonderful. They are large to swallow but don't taste bad. The quality seems good and although they haven't helped what I am taking them for, they have helped other things.

Seem to be effective as long as you continue to take them, but I need to take 3g per day which is very expensive on a moderately low income. I'm taking them for the T cell activity. Capsule size is pretty average. Very little taste or smell, if any.

I have taken this supplement for 6 months without any improvement. I got better results using tumeric supplements when it comes to inflamation & infections.Having spent all this money for nothing I started researching the ingredients listed on the product and have learned that in order to fully maximise the benefits of a mushroom supplement you need to consume the fruiting body aka the cap not the root.Mushroom supplement manufacturers use one of two different forms of mushrooms in their formula. The first type is the actual mushroom cap, and stem called the fruiting body. The second type is mycelium, and you should generally avoid it. If you think about a flower, mycelium is the root system, and the fruiting bodies are the actual flower part and stem, in this case, the mushroom caps and stems.Manufacturers who use mycelium will grow these roots on top of a grain substrate, mostly rice or oats. Once mycelium roots grow, the roots and substrate become intertwined and are impossible to separate. Formulas containing mycelium consist of about half roots and half filler in rice or oats. Some manufacturers chose to use mycelium because they can mass produce it as it only takes one week to mature.Compare that to fruiting bodies, a more expensive growing process that takes anywhere from two months to several years. The fruiting bodies are the pure form of mushrooms with no filler or by-products.If you are looking for an actual “mushroom” supplement that does not have unwanted fillers, avoid formulas that use mycelium.Thank you for comming to my TED talk.
