Roy Buchanan

I wanted to take a star off, but I just can't. Roy's playing is that friggin' good and this has the original release of The Messiah Will Come for pity sake.It's just that the recording quality on this one wasn't very good at all. Messiah is the best in that regard, but some of these are absolutely low-fi. Still, it kind of suits some of the songs. Roy is just so technical and simplistic as the same time, just pure emotion. You loose track of the low-fi pretty quick.

Amazon has a great music selection and great prices. I like especially that they give you downloads too along with the hard copy. I don't believe in buying electronic music and not have a hard copy. Sorry Apple.

Stunning first album from an American master of the telecaster. A shy man with no designs on fame that nonetheless could not completely avoid it. If you play country or rock guitar you owe it to yourself to examine this masterpiece.

Roy lays down his sweet sound, from that kind of country-ish fling to that gliding smooth and flying up and down the neck of his guitar. He could surely make the music dance. Soulful sound played from the heart.

it is roy buchanan. nothing else needs to be said. probably one of the greatest guitar players ever born. yet not a lot of people know of him and that is a shame. just do yourself a favor and get this GET IT

Possibly the best he done,just buy it sweet dreams is and always will be unbelievably wonderful,it all gets better every timeyou play it,sweet dreams to all of you ,god bless

Had this album years ago finally got round to buying the cd still aounds great but dont take my word for it buy it yourself you wont be sorry

Great album showcasing one of the world's best and inovative guitarists. Some tracks are mesmerising and leave you breathless.
