First of all, the necklace is beautiful! The beads are a color that can look different based on what you wear. Sometimes they are a smokey purple, a bluish, or gray. It literally matches anything...good for a 12 year old. It is a wonderful milestone gift that has meaning with the 12 beads but can be worn for many years to come. My daughter loved it for her 12th birthday, however it was a little longer than she wanted to wear it. We emailed Efy and got a response immediately. We sent in the necklace and had it adjusted to fit exactly what she wanted. Of course, I explained it wrong and when we actually spoke on the phone, realized the adjustments that were sent back weren't small enough. She sent me a second necklace at the correct measurement and I ended up sending back the first one. The care and concern for my daughters satisfaction is so appreciated. For anyone who has a 12 year old girl (which she did) can understand how hard it is to pick something out for her. She has worn the necklace every day since she got it back. This was the perfect gift for my 12 year old granddaughter! She loves it - I wish I took a picture of the surprised look on her face when she opened this box!!!
