Awesome part with one exception.
Awesome part, but you have to crimp the ends down hard to get them to stay on. May benefit from being able to attach differently to the fabric.with current setup it is easy to crush the ends and make them unuseable.

They were a little smaller than the original ones. But it seems to work. It was only because I don’t know the exact sizes for zippers when ordering them.

Did the job!
A new rain jacket was 130+. With these zipper fixes a fraction of the cost. I am extremely thankful I was able to keep my jacket after fixing it. I recommend.

It works if you know how to use it.
Bought this kit for a sweatshirt that had a missing retainer box. There are many reviews saying the kit "doesn't work" or is useless....for anyone reading who doesn't know: The box needs to be pinched on to the zipper end. That means you'll need to procure your own tool/method of doing so. I added a drop of industrial glue to the inside of the clip (the long side that pinches on to the fabric and stays put) and pinched it on with a pair of pliers. It fits my #5 zipper perfectly, it just needs to be applied with some force, otherwise it'll be "useless" because it isn't actually attached. Grab a pair of pliers, put some muscle in to it, maybe add a drop of heavy duty glue to ensure that the box won't slip off. Please don't blame the manufacturer because you aren't attaching the pieces correctly. I almost didn't buy this product because of the negative reviews. Very happy I did!

This is a waste of money
This is a waste of moneyAfter I finally got the piece on that I needed it fell off before I could use it again. I even had the tool I needed to put it on don’t bother buying them there just a waste of money

Definitely worth using. I easily fixed one of my husband's favorite full zips
Easy to use, I had bought zipper replacement pliers separately and they made the install a breeze. The old slider retainer broke and the zipper kept falling off on my husband's UA zip up. I easily fixed the jacket in a few minutes. The jacket works and looks like new.

Here's What You Get in the Package - Works with YKK #5
You get 20 of each bottom part as pictured. These do fit YKK #5 and the work well, you do need to crimp them on to even work otherwise you won't get the pull down over it and it will fall off. Even crimping them on like I did doesn't guarantee they will fit or last long but this is why you ordered 20 of them for your one hoodie. You really should fine a way to puncture the back so it pushes some metal into the zipper material if you want it to stay. That of course fails over time too. Which is why you are looking at a replacement.

Not that gold or bright
The parts state a size 5 but they were way too small and the colour was way to dark. Didn't work at all.Had to order a real zipper to fix my problem. I won't do that again!
