Natural Product with Top Level Results
When we found mold in our HVAC system the health consequences to the family were devastating. I researched endlessly all cleaning protocols and products. This is the product used by government agencies in public schools and buildings as well as hospitals. No harmful outgassing or residuals. We now keep a gallon on hand at all times.

great product
We've used this product for a long time. The scent is strong but not unpleasant. It's a clove type smell, not chemical. My husband uses this in his mold remediation business and loves it

It WORKS.
I discovered this product when a home I bought was found to have extensive mold and rot issues. We hired a professional company and they used this product as it was the best one they had tried thus far. Many people mistakenly think you can just add bleach to mold and that will kill it. WRONG. Bleach is 98% water and the water will force the mold deeper into the wood while just killing the surface mold. Benefect absorbs into the wood, taking that killing all the way in and it dries and remains in the wood as a residual killer for quite some time. I keep some on hand whenever I do work near possible leak areas, I always wet down the surfaces I can get to as good insurance in case any future leaks occur. For those doing their own mold remediation, wear a respirator, wet down the surface with this product and then use a putty knife to clean the surface. When clean, use a wire brush to make sure you get into the wood pores and re-coat heavily. Replace any structurally damaged wood and re-coat it before finishing, especially in areas where the new wood touches areas that previously had mold. Bag any mold you remove in Zip-loc bags.
