To sum up my collective experience of 2 days in a short customer review would be the last thing I would do, and this is also me writing any sort of feedback on anything for the first time ever, then why take the trouble to write one now?BECAUSE IT DESERVES ATTENTION.OMEEWA MT-525 X:___________________For: Anyone, who solemnly loves 'sound'; and I mean really endures his/her genre of music as well as admires it such that they gain peace, comfort, and wisdom from its resonance and would thrive in its form like a bird of paradise. As it is meant to be.NOT FOR: who think pricier is better. PeriodAnyone else with just a little bit of sincerity towards their affinity for music will fall blindly in love with it. Even a Judas Priest metal song in it sounds like a hymn out of this world, and that too in low volume.Do your ears bleed? They don't.AN UNDERSTANDING: well, these are things that we should care for be it any good speaker, yet we simply don't because we are too lazy to do that, which are:1. Sound signature preference2. Size and acoustics of the room3. Speaker placement and positioning4. And most importantly the aesthetics of keeping a good sound good, for time and beyond. (Like using bass boost on lower bass songs below 75% volume, maintaining right distances from walls and floors, not enforcing media player equaliser settings on the speaker's already balanced output, disabling media volume sync in bluetooth settings, turning off 'absolute volume' of your phone, and playing in normal equaliser while playing through bluetooth)ASSISTANCE: Do not worry. This is not rocket science. This is called care and sincerity. The customer care executive is an one man army. He will provide you with a pre and post-sales service and assistance you have never heard or imagined of. The packaging and instructions are thoughtfully done and placed in a way that you learn as you unpack. the Do's and Do Not's are neatly crafted on the backside of the speaker. Their attention to your necessity and understanding is beyond anyone's in the market. and by anyone I mean any brand.//Casual party listeners, just get any Overrated Branded or/and average Chinese speaker and just assume it will take care of itself while you absolutely murder it with super high volume, super high bass, and super high trebble.... all in unison: until there's hardly anything left of the 'song'.[Alas!]roll drums. snare. everybody laugh. good joke.//BTW, THIS IS NOT FOR NOISE. THIS IS FOR SOUND.SOUND: being a nincompoop myself, i did everything that i shouldn't have, like playing in full volume with bass boost on a Pearl Jam song for quite some time.YET IT SIMPLY REFUSES TO UNDERPERFORM. that, is,quality.As I am back to the aesthetics again it is still simply unputdownable that much.LOUDNESS: Well another thing, I have seen Obage stating right upfront that this is not for loud listeners. but believe me, if music is your food, then it is loud enough to last you a hunger strike.PERFORMANCE: And not just that, even if you lower the volume below 10, you will hear everything with UNMITIGATED clarity as you would in a higher volume. You will discover new parts in old songs. I heard a backing vocal at the end of Allah Ke Bande which i never thought existed. this is just one of many. That i never heard on sony, pioneer, denon, audio technica or anything. I know, being an Indian we hardly trust our own products.Well, our loss.PACKAGING: Even the packaging of the whole thing is so intuitive that you will know that this is going to be something special. I guess they even researched on this too. I don't know how a homegrown company is providing this much with zero compromise on quality within this economical price bracket. I SIMPLY DON'T KNOW HOW THEY ARE DOING IT! AND I DON'T WANT TO. I AM AT PEACE BECAUSE I KNOW THAT THEY KNOW HOW TO DO WHAT THEY DO.That's that.CONNECTIVITY: Almost no wires. Seperate cables for separate inputs. duly packed in a different box altogether. The Bluetooth connection is sublime. Period. It is something else entirely. you can take tokyo drifts around it and you won't notice a single minute disruption in sound.CONS:: 1. you simply cannot stop listening to it. song after song. song after song. I have played everything from Zeppelin to Bismillah Khan to Pandit Ajay Chakrabarty to Tajdar Junaid to Pink Floyd....just to name a few. It is like hypnosis.2. see 1 ...(I am writing this while my spotify is connected to the speaker. and that is also why i cannot record a sample right at this moment, which i will surely do with a friend's phone later and upload a sample if that's allowed.)SPECIAL MENTION: BUILD: Supreme build quality. you can simply destroy any much pricier branded so called premium sound systems by just literally dropping it over them from a nominal height. IT IS THAT WELL BUILT.THIS IS WOOD. THIS IS NOT A GIMMICK.LOOKS: THIS IS A SPEAKER NOT A DRESS. But,it looks and feels phenomenal. like silk sliding over wood and whatnot earthly delights. Something that is more beautiful in real than in the photos. The finish is simply unfathomable including that of the remote. (Batteries are not provided inside as in extreme weather they might damage the remote itself. very thoughtful). It cannot be perceived, until met.THiS IS NOT A FASHiON STATEMENT. THIS IS A (((SOUND STATEMENT))). Minimal yet marvellous. It shows 'blue' in red.FINAL VERDICT: buy one. listen to it. even if you have never written a single line of review in your life, you will find yourself here writing one, just like I have (maybe not this long, cause you are busy). Because, as i said earlier, it deserves attention. With just mere 6 reviews, it is criminally unattended.So, those who think that what gillters is gold only, what costs more pays more, big brands mean better sound and services, and all that taken for granted false notions, please buy a highly overpriced system, make noise, and destroy it.Everyone else, just lend an ear to the '525 X'. The money you save- plant a tree with it, feed the elderly, buy a football for that poor kid in your locality. AND STILL COME HOME TO SOUND THAT IS DIVINITY. From 5 to 5, with Xtreme pleasure. The media could not be loaded.  Before going into the details, let me just mention the 1 extremely important step that you must not miss, if you want the best speaker model for your space and ears - CONTACT OBAGE CUSTOMER CARE BEFORE PURCHASE.Their pre & post sales customer service is handled by a "one-man army" called Vipin. He will literally converse with you and make sure you get the very best out of each penny you spend. His product recommendations are based on the size & acoustics of your room, also your sound signature preference. He doesn't make sales pitches, i.e., if you're room is less than 150 sq. ft , you will not be recommended to buy a speaker that suits a 200 sq ft room just because it costs more and the company will profit more.Similarly, you will get all the help you need even after you make the purchase , even after having listened to it for long. They take the term "Customer Care" seriously!I got myself one only recently, but my ears are being blessed by their madhur sound for a year now (my friend has the same omeewa model). If i may add, after 20 years of longing, i now have the best speaker that fulfills every inch of my thirst and love for music and sound alike. Here's how and why:- Sheer CLARITY and ACCURACY of sound, irrespective of the volume levels- a PERFECT BAAS that doesn't mess with the voculs and other things at play in a musical piece. This is something i have been yearning for all my life and many known brands like Sony have failed miserably, despite baas being their major selling point.(The fact that it is actually playing another mesmerizing piece at the moment, it is hard to concentrate on what i'm writing. It is difficult to move away from the astounding sound, let alone ignore it. IT IS THAT GOOD!)- The MINIMAL DESIGN (both tower and remote) makes it extremely easy to navigate, especially if you're technically unsound like me, but like to Live and breath Music nonetheless.- It is APPARTMENT- FRIENDLY. Enjoy a musical time without having neighbours bang your door, asking you to volume down! As stated previously, volume levels of the speaker doesn't affect sound clarity or accuracy. If you have not been able to enjoy your music well living in a society, this one can be your best friend. Somehow, the sound stays more or less contained in the room.- BAAS BOOST for that momentary need of extra baas for particular songs. (follow their instructions in this regard for a longer speaker life)- BLUETOOTH CONNECTIVITY is more or less flawless. After much testing i found that it is getting slightly disrupted, in my case specifically, because of my WiFi router being too near the sound system.A minor shift in speaker placement can solve this rare issue, if anyone ever faces it. Also, customer service god, Vipin is always there to assist you. However, this is *NOT A SPEAKER PROBLEM*- STURDY AUX-CABLES for alternative options.- BUILD quality is SOLID.- BRAND TRANSPERENCY. nowadays it is almost miraculous to get what is promised from any brand, but this native brand, OBAGE, is doing it. Thank you, Team Obage for delivering that which you promise and nothing less.- All of the above in an AFFORDABLE PRICE RANGE. I'm sure there are many many many sound lovers like me out there, who may not have landed a sound system that feeds their love for sound, due to budget constraints and because the market is filled with several gimmicks. If you're one of them, this is your best bet.Due to this indian brand many of us are no longer starving for the Magic that Music brings with it.I'm glad to be a part of this sound family. Trust me, they are still underrated and deserve more and more attention. Bigger brands invest in Marketing campaigns while often compromising on what really matters- the FINESSE OF SOUND. Superb sound quality in this price range , choose this product you will definitely like that , but 32 volume is quite low increase that by 38 or 40 , choose this product you never regret about it ,
