The Nanuk cases, and I have 8 in various sizes/builds, and all are the ultimate, I have others that are the "other" "best" brand and my Nanuk cases are superior...

Well let’s start with use. I am a traveling Automotive FSE and I carry 60-80lbs of tools. Let’s just say I had other cases from well known big brands and Airline Baggage Handlers would always find a way to destroy them. I opted this time for Nanuk and a larger size to prevent tossing and shot-putting of the case from Plane to Tug/Cart. Now it is scratched and dinged but I travel every week 1600 Miles + and I expected that but the well thought out latches and TSA lock pass throughs help prevent unintended opening and lid damage.Pros:1. Wheels and collapsing handle for ease of long airport travel walking. Extending handle is long enough to support staking duffle bag, backpack or carryon bag on top and pull behind2. Latches and 3 stage clasping open/closed3. Option to retrofit Nanuk TSA Latches for more security + locking lid to case eyelets4. Self retracting side handles that tuck away automatically5. This is my second Nanuk from Amazon and both times, the items I received were in great like new condition. Very pleased with Amazon's service. It's a heavy case so people with back problems, be careful while lifting it. It does have the pull out handle that helps a great deal! Thank u Amazon.

Arrived as expected and survived the "tender" mercies of baggage handlers on what are now multiple air journeys to the other side of the planet (New York to Singapore and back) while stuffed to the gills with engineering equipment. All the engineering equipment inside survived intact even though the Nanuk 960 itself did get a little dinged in the process. But that's what it's built for and it survived the dings. Am extremely happy with the value and the price of this product and would use these instead of the competing models from Pelican Cases any day. I love that it comes in bright colors other than the usual black, green or grey so I can spot it a mile off when it hits the baggage carousels upon arrival at each destination. The waterproofing, heavy duty latches and reinforced locking slots are excellent especially when exposed to hot and humid tropical environments that would turn regular luggage into mush. I love my yellow Nanuk 960, yes I do!UPDATE: It's now December 2017 and my Nanuk 960 is still holding up fine aside from scuffed outside surfaces after seven (7) trips between Singapore and New York and surviving the abuse of baggage handlers in both countries. Hopefully it'll last many more.

This has multiple uses, I use it for my Camera Equipment, it holds everything I need, keeps it safe, it's waterproof, it has wheels for easy transportation, just perfect!😁

Purchased this hard case to transport sensitive equipment by airplane. This case is very well made and kept my equipment safe during transit. It is rather bulky and somewhat heavy but as long as what you have fits and doesn't put it overweight, it works. Foam inserts were a nice addition. Only complaint is there are indentations molded in the case so the inside isn't perfectly flat. Also, somewhat expensive for what it is.

Nice case. Very well made. Will see if it is better and more waterproof than the pelican cases.

Ive flown on at least 10 flights with this case, I bought some of my own upholstery foam to put inside the case(as nanuk charges a ridiculous amount for their own foam), and the items I transport all are safe and not broken.The actual case barely has any signs of wear or tear either. Very pleased

Love this case so far. Right after I received it, I loaded it up with 70lbs of tools. The pickable customizable foam worked great for the drills. Took it on a business trip where via airplane where it travelled via four airplanes there and back. All the tools arrived safely. The extendable handle made it easy to pull around the 70lbs. At the site, I wheeled the case from the hotel to the site, which was about a three-block walk on sidewalks. It worked well for that as well.

I bought the Nanuk 960 case in order to have a secure transport case for a Meade ETX-125 telescope. Really, I should have gone for one that was about 1 inch longer simply for ease of configuring the foam insert. But all things considered it still worked out very well. I am extremely impressed with the excellent manufacturing quality of this case and in future will not hesitate to buy other Nanuk products if and when I need one.

after an initial out of the box manufacturing defect was resolved awesome case, it holds more gear than I can lift. The folks at Nanuk are super great, their customer service had a new case to me over night. This thing should be bear resistant, wonderful strong case.

Bought this to travel with my cajon, only case big enough i could find. Used it 3 or 4 times from the car to the parking lot.. wheel feel off.. no idea where it is at. Only giving it one star because I have to give it something. Extremely disappointed because I’m suppose to fly with it.. and the case isn’t even paid for at this point. Don’t buy.. don’t buy.. don’t buy..
