I Love it - But don't love the cap
I Love it - But don't love the cap . 5 stars for the bottle itself, we replaced all our bottles over the last 2 years, the "Purist" lining works great, keeps the water pure (unlike cheaper plastic bottles), yet flexible for our bike water cages. Keeps the water as pure tasting as aluminum or glass bottles.2 issues with the cap/drinking nipple. One: if the nipple is open, and the bottle tips over in your car, half the water will run out. Two: all the nooks and crannies of the nipple are great places for dirt & dust to accumulate if you go mountain biking. I prefer an old fashioned open/closed nipple. In summary we have 6 or 7 of these purist bottles, and we use them every day. Final advice, buy the un-insulated bottles, (they are half the cost of the insulated purist bottles)

Not impressed.
Water doesn't not stay cool for more than 45 mins. I've used it about a dozen times and by the time I get to my second hour in my ride, I have warm water. I filled up with a lot of ice as well.

Easy to use and keeps water cold.
I was pleased to receive for review the Purist 23 oz Insulated Water Bottle. This bottle is advertised as being BPA free with the ability to keep water 20% colder than other insulated bottles. It has something called a Moflo Cap; more about the cap later. This first thing I did, which is a necessity, is to thoroughly wash the bottle with warm soapy water – same thing with the cap. Then I filled the bottle with cold water and let the bottle stand for eight hours. Now I have the bottle on my desk and am ready to test it.First thing, the moflo cap is rubber and it pops right up to allow me to drink from the bottle. It works well and gives just the right amount of water for drinking. The water, after sitting for eight hours in the bottle, is still cold! Notice the exclamation mark. Not bad. I did not put ice in the bottle, but if I were going out in the car in the summer, I would certainly put ice in the bottle to keep the water extra cold. Now I have shut the cap and turned the bottle upside down. No leaks – an excellent seal. The center of the bottle is pinched inward to allow for easy and comfortable grip. This bottle feels good in my hand.We have water that tastes good here in Western MA and the Purist Bottle does not in any way change the taste of the water. The bottle is light blue in color with Simply Pure Insulated written on one side. It looks like what it is, an insulated water bottle.Bottom line: This bottle holds 23 ounces of water that it keeps cold for at least eight hours and probably longer. It is easy to handle and use and appears to be durable. For the price, it seems like a good buy.
