I keep a couple aquariums and need to add a small amount of hydrochloric acid to each water change since the pH of our tap water is over 9. I buy the gallon jugs of straight acid for the pool, and used to use a tiny dropper to collect about 1.5ml to add to 5 gallons of water for a water change. It was precarious and dangerous collecting it from a gallon jug.Now with these I can pour a reasonable amount a small, safe container that's easy to keep inside. 100ml of HCl will keep me supplied for weekly water changes for over a year. The lid seals nicely and I can easily use a small dropper to collect only what I need without risk of spills. Definitely happy with this purchase.

I use these bottles to make, sterilize, and pour agar. Steam sterilization, mixing agar by microwaving and shaking, and pouring without drops running down the side are easily done. The glass is thick and seems like it could tolerate mild abuse. The approximate volume markings on the bottle are accurate - measuring out 500mL brings the liquid right up to the indented line at the base of the bottles' neck. Obviously these are too coarse for high precision, but they are a good reference.

Seems these were designed for pouring liquids. There perfect.

The bottles themselves are of good quality and so long as you do not want to use them on a stir plate I am sure they are just fine. The bottom is just too convex for use on a stir plate.

Measure marking is accurate and clearly printed.

Blew the bottom off of 1 before it got to a boil with the lid off…

Good not great. I expected better quality, uniform glass. Give a 4.

The bottles are heavy glass. And there is a plastic washer attached to the top of the bottle to improve the seal with the cap.There are two cons (each with an easy work around)1. The scale stops at at 200ml, not 250ml. The work around is to fill it to the 50ml mark and save that in a separate glass. Then fill it to the 200ml mark and add the 50ml you saved in the previous step.. Use a marker to indicate the 250ml level and dump the water and let it dry before use.2. The scale on the side is approximate due to printing offset error. You get it more accurate by using a precise measuring cup and making your own marks.

Estas botellas de medio son de excelente calidad y se ven muy bien. Las uso para almacenar soluciones en mi laboratorio.
