Ironton Steel Cart, 34in.L x 18in.W, 400-Lb. Capacity

This is just what I needed. My apartment door is a ways away from the parking lot of my complex, and it was always a pain to get my groceries from the car to my apartment. I originally purchased a smaller two wheeled dolly type transport, but I could never get all of my groceries in it at the same time, and had to make several trips. Now I can load everything up at once, and only make one trip. For this old retired grandpa, that makes a big difference. The cart was easy to assemble, and the wheels are large enough to make it roll easily over even a graveled parking lot. One tip: When assembling the sides, they will go on either way, but if you have put them on backwards all the sides will slope outwards slightly. If that is what you want, fine. Otherwise, just flip the side end for end and reinstall the clips. The hardest part for me was fastening the bolts to hold the wheel assemblies on, but that was because I couldn't find the right wrench, and had to make do with what I had. If I had had the right tools, it would have assembled easily. Even so, I don't think it took more than half an hour to do the assembly.

I bought this wagon to bring groceries in the house with one trip. I love that I can easily lower the sides and carry larger boxed items on it too. It is durable and coated so it won’t rust. We also put a bag inside it and roll it around the yard to pick up weeds, leaves etc. The tires are huge and roll right over everything. Easy install however the tires had a strong plastic smell to them so I took it out on the porch to assemble. The plastic smell quickly faded and isn’t noticeable anymore. This wagon will last a lifetime and still be ready to go for generations to follow, it’s that nice. Huge Smile while pulling it around.

This product look nice and may be fine for lighter duty work. I'm not sure it has a 400 lb capacity or could be use with heavy capacity frequently. The metal is quite thin and would easily be damaged. One big concern I have is that the holes for the bolts are way over-sized. I can only assume this will allow the bolt to become loose or sloppy over time, or allow the pieces to become out of alignment. The cart edges are thin and were bent enough that I wasn't able to assemble it the way it was intended. the hinges would not line up so the back piece had to be put on backwards. There are "handles" on the front and back that look like they could be used to secure or unsecured the gates, but that is not correct. Not real sure what they are for.

This little red wagon is a "back saver"! It handles easily, is quick and simple to assemble, right out of the carton, and easily fits through doorway and hallways. We use it for moving groceries from the driveway into the house, all in one trip, without having to strain the old back. I highly recommend this heavy duty but light weight utility cart for senior citizens and those with handicaps which make lifting, lugging and carrying items an unwelcome chore. I'm very pleased with this purchase! Excellent quality.

Great cart, all terrain tires and very stable with a load on it. That being said the box was sealed from China and the cart should be assembled out in the open and left outside or in an uninhabited place for at least two weeks as it is somehow full of nasty chemicals which out-gas for quite a while. It might be the "paint" not quite cured, I don't know but it has taken a month and sill I don't want it in my house. Works perfectly to transport my heavy tools to the truck and around the job sites as I can keep it in the garage.

Excellent cart! Nice and sturdy but pulls easily and smoothly. I got this for my sister who has a bad back and needs help getting garbage bag from house to trash can and also groceries from car to house. It's worked really well for her and I'm very please with this purchase. I'd definitely recommend it.

When we go shopping to restock our household needs (we only do this once a month for our house) when we come home we use this wagon to help us bring in our packages into our home from our truck. we also use this wagon for many other chores too, and our ggreat children have found many other uses for it too. we love it...oh yes when it is left outside in the rain (and it does rain in Oregon every once in a while) we don't end up a wagon full of water. yes this wagon is made of STEEL so we think it will last for a long time.

Instructions are minimal. If you don't understand how cotter pins work, research before purchasing (it's really rather easy BUT there are no instructions concerning the cotter pins.) On the upside, the price is right, the cart is as pictured and works! Best if assembled with a pair of wrenches that fit the lug nuts although a plier may be substituted for one of the wrenches - a challenge if just using two pliers.
