Before assembly each piece seemed Very light like styrofoam that looks like wood. Surface is not very smooth, especially around the ages so watch out for splinters. Once you put it all together - dont inspect it too closely and just admire it from far away you should be content with you purchase. I didnt return it as I liked the style but there are many suppliers on Amazon with just as misleading description so I saw no point in re ordering it from someone else. Once it is on the wall its ok, it does the job but whenever i need to grab a pick or guitar its not nice to touch and i can imagine dusting will be a pain (as the surface is rough).

A friend had bought two of these for his guitars and my husband decided to purchase them for his - one for an acoustic guitar and one for an electric guitar. They have meant we have been able to clear floor space by removing the floor stands and they look great on the wall. They are easy to install and the way they work is fantastic - a really secure way to store the guitars when not in use. Highly recommended.

I love the guitar design of the block that attaches to the wall. These are very sturdy and I now have 3 of these. They are used to hang 3 very precious and expensive guitars. You can trust this product to hang your guitar and hold it securely in place.

Looks good, easy to put up.Great for a guitar but a ukulele is too light to make the auto lock work.

Really nice looking product, was bit difficult to install as its quite difficult to mark where you have to drill your holes. Would be nice to have sort of guide. The pieces you have to fit together we’re not exactly straight which was a little disappointing. But visually, sturdiness and practicality is great!

I like the guitar shape of the wooden mounting and sturdy action of the locking mechanism.

Reasonably well made bracket easily assembled suitable for a guitar. At a good price.

Product came earlier than expected and the design and ease of use were.much better than thought. Installation was simlle and the locking device keeps my instrument safe and secure. Very pleased with my purchase
