Overall pretty good
Overall a good product. It did have some small dents and a little bit of mud on them but this did not affect the use of the product.

Know what you're buying
These work out well overall. First, measure both places you plan on putting the bars. Mine was wider in the front than the back by quite a bit. Second, the bars themselves are 60" (at least that's the version I got). You will need to add about 8" to your measurements between the rails that run front to back. I bought mine long and cut them down to the size I wanted. That was rather easy since they are aluminum. However, if you cut them down you will need to create a notch for the end cap so that it stays. I had to use a router to do that. They do not have any molding to cover the gap in the lower rail so they are loud on the highway. I put aluminum tape on them and the noise went away. Overall, these look similar to others on this site but seem much better. I got the other ones first and they were not built as well.

this product was overall okay but has issues
this is part of a 3 item review. I bought this product with a package deal that was recommended for my 2014 Ford Flex based on my searches. We need more interior cargo space on this family trip of 3900 miles, 8 days and 6 state trip. the first items that were ordered where what was recommended for my car, but the front cross bars were to short and would reach across no matter how we tried, so i returned them, but had to eat part of the cost because according to amazons guidelines it was my fault, but that wasn't a big deal as much as it was to get the right part. Customer service was closed from 5pm eastern time on a thursday thru til monday, but we were leaving that sunday./ . i had ordered the 52" crossbars, and they had 46" of workable space, but didn't fit, so the only other option was to order the 60" bars that were a bit to long for our roof and stuck out over it. But again shipping was super fast product arrived before we were leaving so i was okay with that. bars went on pretty smooth no real hassles at all. basket attached well to it, and the cargo/ spider netting clipped to it. It wasn't until we were a few days into our trip when we started to realize that the basket kept changing positions on the roof, sometimes it would be more left, sometimes more to the right. so we went around and made sure to tighten all the adjustment bolts that were there. seemed to help, but by the next day it was the same thing, and on top of that you could push the bars back to be centered, because we had by then figured out it wasn't the basket but the roof rack bars that were sliding back and forth in the clamps that attached to the rails of the car. Our load wasn't that heavy either around 125lbs. well with in the load requirements. if this had been a heavier load it could of been more dangerous to either another driver or the car, if the product failed even more, The bars held up but the load shifting and not being tight isn't something that is good. also by the last day one of the plastic cups at the end of the bars had broken off and so now the bars just whistle as you drive which i mildly annoying. Im not happy about the longer bars at this point, nor the ability for the crossbars to move back and forth at will while driving.

Don’t loosen too much when installing
My only concern is that I unscrewed/loosened one side too much and had great difficulty getting it back in so I could secure the bar to my car. Luckily my boyfriend figured it out. Otherwise, I’m very pleased with this product. Some reviews I read prior to purchasing mentioned loud whistling when not carrying anything and driving at higher speeds but I don’t really have this issue. I get slight whistling when I drive upwards of 80 mph, which is rare so maybe it varies by car make and model?

Fits Ford Expedition
Fits Ford Expedition. 3 rating on installing, because they did not come with 5mm Allen wrench required for installation. Also does not include fill trim to block off bottom channel (as others do), to reduce wind noise. Not bad wind noise, but you’ll know they are up there. Decent value for the $.

Works good.
Install was easy. The extra wide I wanted for 2 kayaks and easier loading but, it also makes for alot of extra wind noise. I followed other suggestions and put aluminum foil tape along the bottom channel to cut any whistling. They've held up carrying 16' wet lumber for projects and heavy kayaks. Dont really see any sag and I've taken them to 150lbs (loaded above my rails and not the center). Fits on VW Atlas no issues. Have put these on so far, straped in Lumber, kayak holders, cargo box.

Boat gunnels work!
I attached this to a rowboat. The gunnels were used as the roof racks would have been. Works well. I tried it on the highway and speed bumps. Seems all good. Much lower height than of the shell was on the roof of mini van.

Great price!! Great rack
For the price you can't go wrong. I used this on my Mercedes Benz ml63. I used it for 2 camping trips and it held up great. It also looks good. The quality is also surprisingly good. The reason I give it only a 4 and not a 5 star is it is not the easiest to mount and line up. Also, it makes a bit of a whistling sound when driving on the highway. This can be fixed by taping the bottoms of the rail. If you are looking for a low price good quality rack this is the rack to get.
