Kinda works, not exactly long-lasting. Maybe better for PT than outdoor cooling; direct skin contact is hard to maintain when moving, and device assumes different angles if you have a narrow neck, wide chest, or large bra size.Don't assume that other ice packs will fit. I took the "recommended" spare ice pack from a different mfr. - no joy.I was able to use the other ice pack in a regular tube sock. ( actually, I found the tube socks just as effective, simpler - but not exactly "stylish" )People who need cooling - like those with MS - may find this a reasonable way to stay cooler in Summer (or vacation) heat.It isn't the best, but it costs a whole lot less than a professional cooling vest.
