I have some wool dryer balls, one of which my kitten stole and mauled to death, so I decided to get her some of her own. They were an instant hit with both our cats. They're as bright and colorful as they looked in their picture, and they're the perfect size for either fetch or for them playing by themselves. They are just small enough that they can pick them up in their mouths and carry them around, so one of the cats in particular loves to carry it all over and hide them in more "challenging" areas to try and stalk. They are soft, but sturdy, none of them have gotten torn up yet, though one or two have disappeared into the nether. This is definitely one of those must-have items we will keep in stock!*Update, almost 2 years later* I just wanted to add that this is still hands-down the most popular toy in our house. They do eventually get worn out; I suppose you might be able to "re-felt" them, but I've never bothered. Also, the green stripe is actually another thread of wool that's wound around the ball and felted in, and if the cat gets particular about it, it is possible for them to pick at it until the thread comes loose and they unwind it from the ball. However they are still quite sturdy and a perfect size and texture for play, so we regularly restock once or twice a year because they love them so much.

Perfect size balls for little kitty paws. Soft to the touch and appear easy to hook with a claw to toss it in the air. Initially I was concerned about the balls pilling or unraveling but they have held up well with serious playtime. Very nice alternative to the hard rubber balls. No jingling bells when kitty wants to play in the middle of the night.Update: I've been ordering these now for years and they are still so perfect. All three kitties love them. Littlest one always seems to be carrying one from one location to another or dropping one down the stairs for her brothers to chase. They hold up well and even wash well when necessary. I order them fairly frequently because they eventually end up under or behind furniture that is a challenge to move too often. They are constantly in play.

my cat loves to play with these! He doesn't even care about his other toys anymore lol..he kicks it around, he wants to play fetch with them. He will grab it with his mouth, run across the room with it, drops it down.. and he wants me to throw it again. I'm glad it's a six pack, cuz they get lost under furniture easily. Definitely highly recommended if you have a playful cat!

These balls are very well made and made of wool, just like my boys Romeo and Diego had soccer balls made of. It took me forever to find these! I’ve searched every store cat toy rack in every store for the past 3 years. If only I had searched on amazon sooner. It’s not that the first ones ever wore out, Romeo usually hides things so his little brother Diego doesn’t play with them. Luckily with the 2 orders I’ve bought of these, there’s plenty to take out more until I find the first ones hidden and these will last forever. Wonderful, fun product! I’m thinking of trying a couple with my grandkids ferrets even.

Personally, I absolutely love these little balls! But I got them for my kitty and she loves them too. She fetches, very easy for her to pick up.)))Not to mention the color and the craftsmanship. I appreciate!!

These were a lot smaller than they looked. I was expecting about the size of a small tennis ball, but these are smaller than a golf ball. I got them for my medium dog, so they didn't work out, but they are pretty sturdy and the swirl didn't come off easily. I let him chew on one and they are super tiny compared to him, but he enjoyed it until I made him drop it.The big woolen dryer balls I bought work a lot better for him, tons of fun to throw around inside.
