This works. You have to be careful in how you latch it but, it's great for carrying. When I served the eggs I put ice in the lid and and the tray of eggs on top. It was a nice way to keep them fresh. I would have given it 5 stars if the latches were so finicky.

I would give this a five, but the four tabs that make it airtight are sometimes hard to close when one gets to the last tab. It is still far better than the heavy glass deviled egg dish to which plastic wrap will not adhere.

Very flimsy and cheap.
