NOT RECOMMENDED - it sliced the mixer plastic and got it in to food.
I bought this and was happy to use it, however, once while having food, my kid plastic flakes in food. And then got to know the 2mm blade was bigger and sliced the mixed plastic and it got added to food... So it's Risky and it's not worth taking the risk

Nice addition to my kitchen
This is very useful blade which didn't come with my Preethi zodiac food processor.I received 2 blades one is of 1.2mm cutting blade which is only useful for chips cutting and one fro grating which is very much useful.I wanted 2.4mm blade which is very much useful in order to cut cabbage, salads, bitter gourd etc.

Well made but a huge basic issue
The balde is very well made and sturdy fits to the tee on the holder. I was very happy...but when I started using it, I noticed that there is not enough clearance between this blade and the bottom of the lid. The lid has a plastic protrusion on the side and this blade cuts that plastic too and obviously that will fall on the food item. Thinking of it, the manufacturer never designed the lide for the raised blade to give 2.5 mm...it is a matter of margins and this has cut the bottom plastic of my lid. I would probably never use this again given this risk. Well made but sadly not thought through. I would blame the OEM as this kind of a blade should have been included in the original product itself. Don't try to improvise and damage your 9000/- equipment for a 500/- rupee add on.
