I am fostering a Chihuahua mix that lost his pet parent. I think that he thought that I was keeping him for a few days, but when those few days turned into weeks, he became depressed and lay on the bed for three days motionless, as if he had given up on life. He started exhibiting behavioral issues, such as pacing the floor, not eating his food, whining, and excessive barking, all of which I was informed were not his normal behavior. I started him on these pills, and he came to life and was his old self the next day. I gave him a calming chew until the pills arrived, and although the calming chews helped, the pills helped him a heap more. I enjoy sharing natural pills with my dogs or dogs in my care. I have been spreading the word about these with other pet parents, and I will buy these again. It is a shame that these are only for small dogs up to 22 lbs, as there are pet parents who need them for their larger dogs.

I saw this product being recommended in forums dedicated to helping cat owners with their cat’s health issues. My cat has recently been super stressed, especially after just having an intense allergic reaction to fleas that we have been to the vet for that caused him to start over-grooming, now he does it to self-soothe for his stress. The capsules come in the bottle as shown, they’re very easy to open and administer in wet food, I’ve even had him directly lick it off my hand.My cat has had a definite improvement in his mood, but still over-grooms if left unsupervised, not sure if this is from the medicine itself or from a combination of all I am doing for him. He does now get his full 12 hours of sleep like a normal adult cat should, instead of spending it self-soothing.

It took a bit of time — like 3 weeks— for this to kick in to see some results. My cat has some anxiety and would over groom herself to the point where her front legs were bald. Now the hair is starting to grow back so I know it’s working. I will keep going with this medicine.

We have acquired a male cat that has been hanging around our back yard. Our cat, a neutered female had been meowing loudly day and night for about 10 days.I saw this product on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It’s Great ! Our cat has calmed down and sleeps all night with some meowing during the day, which we can tolerate. We just put in her food and she mellows out in a short time. Wonderful product and would recommend to everyone.

I guess these worked they take a long time though, and my dog still growled at people in the airport. She still snapped at the vet. I don’t know if if she needs to have a lot in her system. I don’t know, but they didn’t work well for me.

I recently added a 3rd cat (not kitten) to my household. Even after a slow introduction over the course of 2 months, one of my other two cats started displaying agressive, dominant behavior toward the newbie (hissing, growling, swatting, chasing). My vet recommended Zylkene to ease some of this behavior. I open one capsule daily and mix it in to both cat's wet food. I have observed diminished agressive behavior over the course of several months. They still don't love each other, but they are no longer agressive.

We only give her one capsule sprinkled over her favorite treat or food and it does the trick. It usually takes about 15 minutes for her full effect. It makes her very calm and eases any pain that she may have from a bug bite. It's super easy to use you just simply open the capsule and sprinkle the powder on your pet's favorite food so there's no trying to force a dog to take a pill which is always fun. Our dogs, thankfully, didn't have a reaction to it. No diarrhea or vomiting after taking this supplement. However, you need to talk to your vet before you use it for your dog.
