The perfect smoker
Great smoker for beginners! I’ve tried several smokers in the past that didn’t hold up, but this one has been perfect every time. It’s easy to use, even if you’re new to smoking, and delivers consistent results. I’ve used it multiple times already, and the food comes out great every time!

Great buy!
Bought this for my husband. He is a beginner and so far it has done really well! It’s easy for him to use, and the food tastes great! Unfortunately it’s hard to get the right temp in the cold weather which i have discovered is a common thing with any smoker! Overall great buy!

Well Buit Sturdy Smoker
After using for a few months I find it to be sturdy and it functions very well for the most part. Out of the box it was easy to assemble for someone with a bit of a mechanical background. There is much about this unit that i like; easy to access wood chip box, good door latch, good temperature range, to either smoke, grill or roast your meats, and/or veggies. Thermometer conveniently located on door. I have smoked Boston Butt, chicken, and baked potatoes, all to my families satisfaction. My one minor issue is the touchy burner control. This unit has a two stage burner. Obviously for two different temperature ranges. There is no indication on the adjustment knob to let you know when either one or both burners are ignited. The flame is impossible to see with the wood chip box in place and the door closed. One must watch the built in thermometer for a good while after start-up to see that the correct temperature is maintained. Once it is stabilized it will hold the temp., at least the temp. I use most for smoking, 225 F. I mention this so maybe the designers will take note and make modifications for future models. All in all it is well built, sturdy, and I look forward to many years of service. I will mention that for years I avoided smokers with glass in the doors, as it don't take long to cloud up. After using this model with glass in the door I find that after smoking, a quick cleaning of the glass from the interior side with paper towels and glass cleaner keeps it clear and ready for the next use. I would recommend this smoker to any grill master or novice that loves smoked meat, fish and veggies.

This Is A Good Smoker!
Love this smoker. I was worried at first by the reviews I read about dents and damage in shipping. I received mine on 3/16/25 and it was perfect, no damage at all. Not sure how any damage can happen the way it is packaged. Easy to assemble, took me 2 hours but I was taking my time while enjoying a cocktail or two. Fired it up for the first time today (3/17), 47 degrees outside and had no problem reaching 305 degrees. This is going to be perfect for low and slow smoking at 225 degrees. The door has a good seal too, no leaking smoke from it. This is a good smoker. The one thing I do not like is the thermometer that came with the unit would not go over 250 degrees when the ThermoPro probes said 305 degrees. Most thermometers that come with smokers and grills are never right.

Proceed with caution
I didn't discover this till it was put together. I have 1 leg with the rollers that is broke, not by me, a dent in the side of the unit, the starter doesn't work. I'm not happy at all.

Love my smoker
I use my smoker 3-4 times a week. Good quality and build. Easy to use. Temp control runs 20-30 lower than my gauges but I think it’s due to the position on the smoker. Easily holds 12 lb brisket on a shelf. Cleaning is super easy. Great value and would buy again!

Not a bad smoker but needs better quality control
So of course to start with its a cheap smoker so you have to accept it won't be the best thing out there but you still expect certain things.Cons1. The door came scuffed up yet the box was perfectly fine...either the quality control at pitboss is horrible or this is a return masking as new.2. the door seal was a joke, leaks everywhere. Going to try and fix this with a lavalock gasket3. Just might be my preference but I wish the wood chip holder opened at the handle so you didn't have to completely remove it to reload chips.4. Grease leaked down onto the wood chip holder, missed the water pan all together and crusted up on top of it which cause a bit of an issue pulling the tray in and out...going to investigate how that happened.5. The gas knob is very cheap plastic.Positives1. I felt assembly was easy and the instructions were correct.2. Even with the seal leak the temperature was controllable for the most part3. Decent space inside for the small form factorOverall it should work for me for the time being and is an ok smoker for a beginner....I do see why people pay a lot for the great smokers though.
