Nice design but be ready to buy more hardware & seal the wood properly
Wood preservative is weak at best. Removed it easily with 80 grit sand paper, then 200 grit before applying 3 coats of Helmsman Spar Urethane (has UV protection) ($17+brush$12). Does not come with enough washers to properly attach fasteners (only enough to put one washer under each bolted joint, should put one on each side of the wood). Wind will easily spin the hammock around and then damage your finish you just spent hours working on, so remove the hammock when not in use. After a handful of uses one of the cheap carabiners bent and will no longer latch. Bought 4 new proper load bearing carabiners ($30). Hammock is very easy to fall out of, even more so with 2 people in it as it doesn't cradle you. Will probably buy another hammock that is more stable (~$50). Not sure its worth the money given how much time and effort I've invested in it. But it does look phenomenal after all that effort.

Arrived as described | Needs finish and additional washers
Hammock arrived as described and early. As others have commented, wood treatment out of the box isn't sufficient for constant exposure. I opted to stain and apply three coats of sealer. Assembly was simple and can easily be accomplished by one person within 15-20mins (common sense required). I recommend using 6 additional flat washers for the eye bolts and leg bolts. Hammock quality is not 'heavy duty' and I will not leave out when not in use, but should last with care.

Disappointed
The hammock fabric is described as weather and fade proof which is not true - after one season the yellow stripes completely faded to white and mold developed. As others have mentioned, the wood frame is not sufficiently treated and needed to be re-treated which was kind of a pain. It’s comfortable and looked good for the first few weeks :-(

Beautiful sturdy hammock
Just like the picture. Not sure if 2 people will fit. A 6 ft man about 250 will fit comfortable but not with a lady beside him. The hammock went together pretty quick. Nothing damaged or missing parts. The hammock is a bit frayed and I hope it holds up. The quilted padding is not as thick as I thought. Overall I am pleased so far. Price was fair. Shipping was quite a bit.
