H96 Pro+ TV Box Android 7.1 OS 3G DDR3 32G EMMC Smart TV Box 4K HD Amlogic S912 Octa-core BT4.1 Dual Band 2.4G/5.8G WIFI Ethernet 1000M with Wireless Keyboard

I bought 2 of these units 2 months ago and about 3 weeks ago, when I'd turn on the unit, the screen would blink sporadically between the display and a black screen. It started with a few random blinks (a few seconds apart) which was tolerable at the time and over the weeks has gotten so bad that I can barely move through the menu. It even blinks during the shows. I've tried changing the display settings but nothing works. Every once in a while it will work fine for an hour or so, but not that often. My second unit hasn't started doing this yet, but it only gets used once a week at most.**update: after my initial review the seller contacted me with some advice from their technician. They suggested trying to disconnect and then reconnect all the cable and if that didn't work, to try a different hdmi cable, unfortunately, this didn't work. Their second suggestion was to factory reset the unit. I did this with their instructions and reinstalled the software as well. This seems to have worked. So far (it's been about 2 hours) the untnhasnt blinked or anything. I've tried turning it off and on repeatedly and have even left it on for a solid hour and it's still working great.I've updated my star rating from 1 to 5. They are very quick to offer support too.Thank you.

I received the H96 pro plus box rather quickly. I went from a firestick to this box and honestly, I thought it was going to be rather difficult but found it to be very easy to use. Now if you are considering buying one make sure to get the keyboard....I am glad I bought it all together as the hand held remote is somewhat difficult using on the playstore where as the keyboard makes it easy!!!

So, I have confirmed that the power cord is defective on this unit, and I'm being shipped a replacement one that will be arriving in about two weeks. the seller was very quick in helping me resolve the issue, therefor I am updating my rating.I know that this box works very good as I own another one and I have no issues with it I would recommend it to friends.This was the first h96 pro+ android box that I had ordered for a friend, and about two weeks into using it she had all kinds of trouble with it and gave it back, when I tried using it I also had troubles with the box, I would like to mention that I have two other boxes, Another h96 pro+ and an MXR pro box and have not had any troubles with either box, but the first h96 pro+ box when I connect it to any display I don't get a picture anymore I have used different HDMI cables, also when I did have a picture I was having trouble with the Ethernet connection I would read that it was connected but wouldn't work unless I was connected to WIFI. So as of right now it serves as a paper weight.

H96 Pro Plus is okay. The set up took a little more time than normally compared to my firetv. The main home page I don't care for too much. Some of the icons, like "Amazon" came preloaded, but was in Chinese. Kodi was preloaded. However, when attempting to upgrade kodi, the system did not allow. I kept getting an error message, "kodi" is already loaded -- although I was attempting to update with the newer version. I eventually managed to update it by doing it another way. It freezes more often than not. I have to unplug it and plug back in -- in order to get the device to work again.....My firestick and firetv works flawless with my tv; this device does not -- unless, it is simply the device itself. The remote sucks... it works when it wishes to. The keyboard is nice, however. No problems with that... I wouldn't recommend this device only because of the issue i have had. i did read mix reviews from others... some good and some not so good... as in my case...

Actually hired a Technician to install and after an hour of fooling with box he unplugged it and started again and got it to work! I think better installation directions and programing may have helped, to include for those of us who are technically challenged some instructions on how to use the remote. So far the box works all right, but does not provide any information on the movies and you blindly click on a movie. I must say though I sent a e-mail to company for a Support telephone number which was sent the next day. Must say I haven't called the line yet, but just may have to...

A bit sluggish and slow for my liking. I should have just bought 3 Firesticks.Good for the hobbyist. 5 months and this thing just stopped working telling me wrong HDMI format or no signal.Although all my streaming devices work on same TVs - the box just stopped working. I am very disappointedI can't even get an option to reset - I wish I can get my money and buy another product.I have used 6 x TVs, laptop, and an HDMI Monitor to see if it will work - I get the same error.Amazon - do something about this - warranty is on this is very poor.

This android box is fast and has more than enough ram and storage to do most things you may need it to do. The keyboard battery life is very short. If I left the unit on for more than an hour it would be dead the next time I tried to use it. Box GREAT, keyboard battery poor.

After reviewing other android boxes, I went with this one for speed reliability and compatibility..this is a must for people that are cutting the cable cord. The processor speed is sufficient for almost anything you want to watch. I would suggest at least 10 mbs internet speed. It has plenty of storage which is expandable with an sd card. It comes pre loaded with software to get you started watching everything.I would also suggest using a dsl direct cable instead of wi-fi for faster running of programs. All in all this is one of the better android boxes in the mid range price tag.
