I love it
Super bright, very good quality (not perfect but MORE than good enough and what you should expect at this price). I'm really happy with this purchase, this is the 3rd projector I've tried off Amazon after returning the previous 2 cheap unbranded ones. It's always better to go for a name brand IMO, won't make that mistake again!

A huge step up from no-name projectors
If like me, you've been confused and overwhelmed by the seemingly endless catalogue of projectors on amazon, then please read this review. It will save you a lot of time. The lumens of the no-name brands on amazon are wildly optimistic. 5000...6000 even 7000 lumens, all in a £150 projector. This isn't possible.Having had 2 of these projectors and selling or sending them back, I can tell you that with this projector you are getting the real deal.3500 lumens in this projector means a picture that is about 2x as bright as the 5500 lumens elphas projector that I just returned. So if I were you, stick with the big reputable brands. You will pay more, but you will get what you paid for!The image on this is crisp, well saturated and vibrant. The moving image quality is fantastic with a specific game mode to increase the refresh rate. It's also very small. It's about 20cm deep so inhabits a small footprint. It comes with 3x m8 screw points to ceiling mount (you'll need a mount) and little adjustable feet of you want to put it on a surface. It has vertical keystone to correct the image if there is distortion from its positioning, but no horizontal correction, so you'll need it to be square to the screen.Loads of inputs and outputs so no issues with connection. If you want to connect to a decent sound system then I'd recommend getting a hdmi audio splitter to send the audio via optical direct to your system, rather than routing through the projector and out of the 3.5mm output. All in all I can't explain just how much brighter and sharper this is compared to the no name brand projectors. There is a review on YouTube where he compares this with one of those and its pretty obvious which is better.Get this... Or something like this... If you have the budget and you want a good picture. If you don't have the budget then the cheaper projectors are OK, just don't expect a 5000 lumens picture.

Paying for the brand ?
I did a LOT of reading before ending up woth this viewsonic. I also ordered several other viewsonics in lower resolutions before getting this.It had some key features like ansi verified lumins not just wild claims, dlp card that allows for good clear colours and a lamp which I've found through lots of reading is what you end up coming back to with very high end projectorsIf you have a lot of money and want ultra short throw then the laser ones are an option. If you have more money still I believe they go back to lamps as a light source. But what I found after spending £400 on this unit is that theres a lot of light "leakage" around the screen edge even without much keystone correction in use.I've had to add velvet curtains to combat this. Its worst in dark films or low light films. On the whole I'm pleased with the clarity and noise levels of the the viewsonic. But a friend recently bought a wimo budget led projector and I have to say its impressive. There seems to be no light leakage, picture is clear and annoyingly some features like zoom scale the picture to fit, effectively making the sceeen bigger or smaller on the wall.Where as my £400 viewsonic doesn't scale the picture when you zoom, it simply cuts off some of the outer area. (That said you can use the optical zoom on the lens but not to nearly the same scale of difference in projected screen size)

Brilliant projector for the money. Love it.
Absolute quality projector. Easy to install (mine is ceiling mounted using a £9.99 bracket) and the set up was a doddle.Picture quality is excellent (1080p resolution) and it has sound if you need it.Run ours through and AV amp and ceiling mounted KEF speakers anf the overall experience is superb. At just over 2m from screen we get the full 92" on an Optoma pull down screen and it's crystal clear. At under £549 and compating to Optoma and BenQ pricing I feel that this was a steal.

Five star projector but stiff focus wheel and cheap remote.
PX706HD short throwThe picture quality is VERY good and latency is great for gaming, which was the main reason for purchase.Very easy to use with minimal setup.-----Remote control is not backlit which really doesn't help in the dark.Focus wheel feels VERY stiff, so much so it makes the picture move up and down when trying to adjust it.Louder than I thought but quiet in eco modeOverall I'm happy because the picture quality is great.Price paid £550 31/03/19

Great for things from office to gaming!
TLDR: Yes it is a little pricy for some people but you will be happy you bought this in the long term! If you are using it daily, don't cheap out.Bought for domestic use. I got used to using a projector after being given a decommissioned one back in high school. A popular name they use in schools is.... ViewSonic! So I might be a little biased on this review.Recently the bulb in my 720 version of this projector died (literally exploded) due to age (i may have used it for over 15000 hours....) and that day we had an extreme low temperature that no amount of furnace heat will cure when it is against an external wall (-60C in Canada). So I turned on the projector and about 2 min later *POP* darkness. I decided to upgrade instead of replacing the bulb even though the projector was only 4 years old (2019)So I bought this! It is basically EXACTLY the same as the old one, even uses the same remote :D The difference is the resolution and a bit of software features. I love this brand for how long the products last and the functionality of them. Even if i was to replace the bulb in the previous projector, it wasn't going to cost too much! The colours are bright (its not super DARK/black but good enough for me). The lumens are enough that I can see the image with all the lights on or the sun shining in the window. The latency is VERY minimal, which is important as a raider in video games. The sound is surprisingly loud (but i have it off since I use my PC and speakers). The noise from the machine is as expected? Its a fan, you are going to have sounds but its quieter than my fridge!

Great picture😁😁
I got my 3D back since my tv went out😥. Picture quality was great for setting it up in a hurry. Looking now for better sound then just from the projector. Love it, thanks...

Incredible projector, don't waste your time with cheaper offbrands
I originally purchased one of the more expensive offbrand budget projectors that hadan overall 4 1/2 star rating. It had Android 10 installed. Android 10 is terrible, the Netflix is a joke, you can't cast any streaming services from phone, etc. Picture brightness was advertised as 3400 lumens. It was only good in dark rooms, any light washed picture out and motion was blurred and choppy. I returned it for another off brand, it was worse. Then I spent a little more and got the viewsonic, it didn't have Android 10 but it was awful and the Google chromecast dongle is the updated replacement for it. The picture quality was bright, even with lots of light in the room. I couldn't believe the difference considering the advertised lumens was lower than the offbrand ones. I knew the offbrand projectors stretched the truth but never realized how big the lie was. I would put the advertised 9000 lumen offbrand at an actual 600 lumen compared to the viewsonic. In every aspect the offbrands can't compare. It was easy to focus and being able to adjust the screen size by 30% or so at a given distance worked out great for our small space. At 68" from the wall we were able to use the full 60" width we had available. Thats width, not screen size corner to corner which was probably closer to 80". The picture is very crisp and clear, not washed out like the previous two models I tried. The biggest difference was during fast action scenes, there wasn't any blurred movement, you could see every detail just like on a regular Smart TV. My son hooked up his gaming system and he said there was no lag or delay, the other two we tried weren't suitable for gaming because of lagging. It recognizes the Google chromecast remote so you can use it to power both on and off and adjust volume etc. Together they make a great smart TV alternative. Being able to watch the projector in a room with light was the biggest suprise. I'm not sure any but the most expensive work great in bright rooms but this wasn't a disappointment. It has far exceeded our expectations in every respect. Don't waste $500 on an offbrand projector when for a couple hundred more you have something in a category of its own by comparison. I like that I don't have to worry about it dying at any moment and that its backed up by a brand that's been around since the early days of projectors. You won't be disappointed!

Perfetto
Ottimo video proiettore full hd nativo, comodissima la usb che mi permette di alimentare la FireTV stick. Messa a fuoco manuale, zoom ottico molto versatile. Audio discreto ma con una cassa Bluetooth collegata alla Fire stick è perfetto. Consiglio l’acquisto
