I love a flavored syrup, but these were over the top strong. I've had similarly flavored surups before, but you still knew you were eating maple syrup. These were a flavor, no syrup. The smoked pecan one was so horrible...like a bad version of a liquid smoke. I wouldn't even use it in a batch of pulled pork or baked beans. Even though the flavors were awful and Id never buy again, I can't bring myself to give less than 3 stars. The packaging was nice for a gift and the price wasn't outrageous. I appreciate small bottles because they don't feel like a huge waste of money when they aren't tasty.

Got this a birthday gift for someone. Was not sure what to think: This stuff is (with shipping) almost $5 an ounce. Well it turns out it was really well received. It presented in nice packaging and the feedback as that it was "incredible" to have real syrup when one is generally only used to Log Cabin or another discount brand. So I am going to give it five stars and suggest if you have someone who needs a gift who can be hard to shop for if they remotely like maple syrup then this would make a great gift.

This little sampler is a nice way to test this product, but ultimately I wasn't bowled over by the taste. I found the vanilla flavored syrup way too sweet and off putting, and the other three in the set just didn't wow me, at all. For being so expensive, I expected much much better. I wouldn't buy these syrups even if they weren't super expensive. The flavor is just not as good as other Grade A maples I've tried.

This was a great sampler pack to give me a taste of a number of Runamok syrups. Unfortunately, these were not my taste. These are thicker syrup than I prefer, not absurdly thick though. The Sugarmaker Cut has a good flavor and the kids and I really liked the Cinnamon and Vanilla (if I purchase another Runamok syrup, it would be this). Though I would like the Burbon Barrel more but burbon and syrup didn't do it for me. Didn't like the Ginger but I didn't think that I would going in.Overall, not bad syrup, but just not for me. If you like a thicker, quality syrup, I would recommend a try.

Run Amok is local to me, so I was super impressed to see this gift set listed in the Washington Post as a top gift to give for Christmas. I ordered it and though I hated to mess with the beautiful custom packaging, I broke the set up and put bottles of syrup in Christmas stockings. They were VERY well received - but I’m sure they didn’t go far! Wish the bottles had been slightly bigger.

I bought this for my significant other as a stocking stuffer. We've finished three out of the four bottles and tried them all. All of the flavors were very good. Our favorite was the cinnamon vanilla, and I just placed an order for a larger bottle of it. This is "quality" maple syrup!

WE HAD A LOT OF FUN SAMPLING THESE DIFFERENT FLAVORS. WE WILL PURCHASE AGAIN BUT FOR EXPERIMENTAL PURPOSES ORDER A DIFFERENT THEME. THE SYRUP IS A GREAT QUALITY AND SHIPMENT WENT WELL WITHOUT ANY LEAKING. ALL FOUR OF US WOULD RECOMMEND THIS BRAND OF SYRUP.

I absolutely love run amok maple syrup. I recently went to Italy and visited a friend and took her this gift set. I wanted something made in the USA ! This was perfect. And since I wanted to try a couple of the flavors I bought one for myself too.
