Get what ya pay for
These are mild steel wrapped glass packs with repackable cores. Noisy, but a lot more mellow than just straight pipes. Trust me, you dont wanna be that dude jerkin himself off with straight pipes Jap bikes while the neighborhood shakes their head at you. These are quiet enough for midnight rides home in a quiet neighborhood, and loud enough that it gives the engine the character it needs to sound sporty. These don't include the spacer shims, have to order them separate.

Very fun way to spend 60 bucks.
The media could not be loaded. Overall they’re great. Shipping was estimated for around 7 days from Cali to Pennsylvania and they showed up 3 days later, was incredibly surprised. They are exactly what they are, came packed well and the finish on first impression is actually good. The flat black actually might hold up well, it doesn’t seem incredibly cheap or poorly finished. My only complaint isn’t with the mufflers themselves. If you plan to install as a “slip on” or “bolt on” without welding, it is possible, but use the U style clamps, I specifically ordered a set of nice v-band style clamps that usually should work better and after an hour messing with them, I took them off slapped a set of U clamps on and was done in 10 minutes, the metal for the muffler is by no means cheap or thin, so keep that in mind when it comes to installing via clamp.I installed them on a cafe build, Honda CB250 night hawk and they honestly make it sound like an old triumph, does not sound like any 250 I’ve heard, I’m posting a video, first impression on a cold bike around 55-60 degrees, I assume they will change a bit as the break in. But they are loud, but not overly annoying. You may or may not have to adjust or re-jet your bike, but on first impression my bike is running the same as it always does, just doesn’t sound like a sewing machine anymore.

Worth it but installation need some serious labor.
Loved it so far. Overall, I really enjoy sound and the way it looks. Perfect look for 2012 triumph bonneville. Installing is a pain the butt. Like couple others mentioned before, its not a direct fit, at least on my bike but I don't want weld it to my pipe either. So I made slits around it as you can see. Fit perfectly after that. Sounds really deep not Harley Davidson deep but deep enough!! Overall I'm satisfied.

Cheap but very solid
Welded onto a 95 vs800. Fit well and was able to tune bike without increasing jet size. They are a glasspack style muffler with limited restriction. Have about 50 miles on them and the paint seems to be holding up as well as the fiberglass packing material.

Pull the insulation out
Fit well and work. Just pull out the insulation and put the baffles back in. You'll thank me. The insulation was loose in mine. That made them have a strange gurgling sound at idle. One I removed it they sounded perfect. I have them on my 1000cc Yamaha Virago.

Buy these.
Look great, sound great, and can’t beat the price. Got these for my 81 Yamaha XS400 I’m currently turning into a Caf’e bike. They slipped right on but need smaller clamps.

Great, but glass was a joke.
If these were advertised and sold as ‘baffles but no glass, can add if you want to’... then I would give them 5 stars. But after I installed them in vertical twin, something was wrong, left and right were totally different. I pulled baffles out and the glass was pathetic. See picture. That was 5 miles of use. I re-packed new glass and was quiet idle, but it sounded terrible on the throttle with loads of popping. I removed the glass entirely and left the baffles in. Now it’s perfect. Very reasonable idle that I believe will pass state inspection and when I get on it, they ride and sound great, like a well tuned traditional vertical twin.Very happy with the result, the housing and baffles seem well built. But what the heck with that glass they packed? Embarrassing.
