Perspi-Guard Maximum Strength Antiperspirant Spray 50 ml, 1-Pack, Strong Deodorant for Excessive Sweating & Hyperhidrosis, Anti Sweat Spray, Unscented

Well, I do get excessive sweating under my armpits and have tried all sorts of products in the antiperspirant line from sprays to roll-ons. None ever worked. I would sweat alot for no particular reason during the day at work in a fairly warm environment. I read positive reviews on this product and decided to get it about 4 months ago. I was fairly dubious about the effectiveness but i decided to bite the bullet and purchase anyway!Low and behold, my underarm sweating has drastically reduced. The level of comfort this product brings is understated. Everyday i would have to hold my arms down by my side or show giant wet patches of sweat on shirts/t shirts and wearing anything other than black t shirts was a nightmare and the level of moisture caught in the area sticks and doesn't tend to go away making it extremely uncomfortable. Since using the product, i have gone more confident about what i wear because i know i will be protected from excessive sweating. This product is almost a miracle cure for what it does. I cannot believe this isn't a more mainstream readily available product.I have tried to apply this product at varying times and situations. Their claim that this only tends to work at night appears to hold up. It does work if you apply in the morning but nowhere near as effective as when applied at night - do not apply this in the morning unless you really need emergency and immediate protection because it will not be as good. I have also found that the more you apply, the more effective and longer this will last (without sounding like stating the obvious too much) I would spray 5-6 times on each underarm which will allow me 3-5 days protection though you can feel by the 5th day, this gradually loses it's hold, it still stops the sweating. I have also found that showers and shower gels do not seem to effect the product and in fact if you have regular morning showers, it seems to boost the effectiveness compared to not washing under arms (I am not sure how this works but it definitely does for me)In terms of the level of protection, it is not completely perfect but near enough. I would say for the first day, my under arms are generally bone dry. The second day usually has the same outcome. Day 3-5 you generally notice a little more moisture with each passing day but still enough to feel comfortable (I used to sweat bucket loads and felt drops of sweat dripping from under my arms and i have never experienced a single drop of sweat since using Perspi Guard) The moisture experienced during the dying days of the product is more of a slightly sticky moist feeling rather than constant dripping sweat so even in the 5th day although the protection wears off, it's still protecting you from that massive sweat loss and keeps it to a minimumIn terms of side effects, I have never experienced any stinging, pain or discomfort that others have experienced but then i don't tend to shave under my arms anyway. Generally the stuff will dry into a very sticky feel when first applied at night. Although not painful or particular discomforting, it feels extremely sticky under the arms for the first few hours which then quickly disappears upon awakening from sleep. Once the morning comes and you wash under your arms, you do not feel the product there of the sticky sensation at all.Overall i couldn't be happier with this product and wish i found out about this earlier and still trying to perfect the best way of applying it - when and how much for effectiveness and a cost saving element. I have used a full bottle in about 4 months (and possibly used more than i even needed to) and currently just on my second bottle now. The 50ml bottle usually hovers around the £8 - £12 mark so works out at £2 per month based on my usage which is amazing. I always use this product in conjunction with a deodorant as deodorants do not interfere with the product and would say that Perspi-guard is the most important product i have ever had and always rely on this to protect me from underarm sweating. Rarely have i reviewed a product on amazon but felt that people needed to know that this product is that good and urge anybody else who suffers from excessive underarm sweating to try this stuff and it doesn't even break the bank.

I have recently just bought this product and it arrived last night and have already tried it out. It certainty a LIFE SAVER and wish I had gotten it sooner. CHANGED MY LIFEFor as long as I can remember, I have suffered from excessive sweating under the arms and my hands. This has become really bad. I had gotten to the point that I would just be sitting doing nothing what so ever and my under arms would act like a water fall. This only wasn't a problem when I slept. I do a lot of musical theatre and I am a dancer so it become really embarrassing when dancing and performing as most of my costumes wouldn't hide that fact I was sweating like a waterfall. It had also gotten to the point where I would go into shops to buy clothes and place water under the sleeves to see if it would show sweat through. I also remember spraying my school cardigan with body spray so it would hide the smell of sweat. I would also never take off my blazer unless it was really hot and if I did I would never take of my cardigan no matter how hot it became. Sometimes the sweat would even show through and I became scared it would sometimes show up through my blazer or a coat. But the smell was never really a problem for me. As for my hands they would sweat and be really cold. I wouldn't touch anyone or their things in case they noticed that my hands were soaking wet. This also effected my hair as when I went to style it or run my hands through t my hair would automatically go greasy and I hated it. BASICALLY MY SWEAT GLANDS AFFECTED MY WHOLE LIFE!!!!!!!!I have been searching for ways to stop it and most say that you need to go to the doctors but I wasn't going to tell my mam about this when I was little so I avoided medical help. Most websites say to drink loads of water. Drink loads of water?! how on earth is that meant to help anyone..... it doesn't trust me.So then I found this^^^^^^^^^^^^^^I applied it last night the way it told me to. Its best to apply at night it as that's when your sweats glands aren't working as much. Apply it to clean dry skin( they explain it all). I applied it after I had shaved my armpits last night. I immediately experienced intense stinging which I'm certain was because I have just shaved my armpits so I checked on the label and it clearly says "DO NOT APPLY TO BROKEN OR DAMAGED SKIN OR FRESLY SHAVED AREAS" so that was that and hopefully it won't sting next time I use it which should be in 3-5 days as its meant to last that long and I think it will. It also only takes 2-3 sprays on the area to work and then let it to air dry. I'm sure that the bottle will last a long time.WELL WORTH YOUR MONEY.So today at rehearsals I experienced no sweating at all. It was just a script reading though and no physical activity so I have got no idea if it will stop sweating for that or not I think it will though. NO SWEATING AT ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM OVER THE MOON ABOUT THIS AND HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT TO ANYONE SUFFERING FROM THE SAME AS ME!!!!!!IT WILL CHANGE MY LIFE

I bought this on Prime day, as it was cheaper and I thought it worth a try.It comes in a reasonably small box with a plastic spray bottle inside. It is unlike 'normal' anti-perspirant which you put on before clothes, instead you are instructed to put this on at night after showering. Spray 2-3 times and allow to dry. I have found that drying takes quite a while, so I can see why it would be best to do it at night.And for the results: amazing! No sweat under my armpits at all, despite the rest of my body being lovely and sweaty due to heat, MS and the menopause. No smell either. If you want a perfumed smell, the instructions say to apply a deodorant/perfume, as it will not affect it. I have also tried the spray on my feet and it works just as well.I have tried other similar products previously, and had an allergic reaction, but I have been fine so far with this one. Although it is expensive, it is worth every penny to be dry and clean. And the bottle should last quite a while, as you only need to use it every other day. Absolutely brilliant! I can't recommend this highly enough.Update: after just over a month, it has started stinging my arm pits badly, so I have had to discontinue use for a while there. Hopefully I will be able to try again in a few weeks, but it means that it now loses a star. However, it is still working brilliantly on my feet, with no adverse reaction.
