These are pretty sturdy, with casings strong enough to hold a sewn thread. The magnetic pull is very strong. I'll buy these again.

Lightweight and very strong!We use them to cover the gap between the curtain panels.Also, recently we used them to find the location of studs behind the drywall (surprisingly, these magnets are so strong that you can find the location of the nails (on the studs) behind the drywall. Great purchase!!!!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased these for a custom clutch handbag with a hidden magnetic snap on the flap. I was able to sew them in very easily and they do have decent hold. They could have been just a little bit stronger, however I'm satisfied with the outcome.

These magnets were exactly what I needed. They held nicely through 2-3 layers of thicker material!

Pretty strong magnets for their size!

I used these magnet for hanging hand towels in the kitchen. They are very strong magnet. However, the plastic cases turned hard and cracked within 6 months!!! Now i have to pulled all of them off the towels and it was not easy.

*tip for installing: the magnets will stick to your machine and it'll drive you nuts. I taped a folded index card over the metal needle plate, to the left of my foot. It helped immensely. Otherwise, your project won't want to move because it is a strong magnet.*Have made 2 bags with these so far and I feel good about the result. My grandma is getting older and has been looking for a purse that's really lightweight and has an easy to use closure that she doesn't have to fight. Since I made her bag from (interfaced) quilting cotton, I added a little more fabric (on the inside) to reinforce but also reduce the power of the magnetic connection. Because they are quite powerful without anything, or with very little, between them.
