Good general manual for reference!. had a problem with the wiring and it has a good wiring diagram to be used for troubleshooting. Also wanted to know where all the fluid levels should be and location off. Also had a problem with glow plug circuit and it was very helpful in troubleshooting them and replacement of. Would buy this book again for my shop.

It's not a service manual but I knew it wouldn't be before I bought it. But it has a lot of info to keep everything running smooth. I saw other reviews complain about not being able to tell the difference between tractor models but I don't have a problem at all. If your not sure just look at your serial numbers. I bought this for my 855 and for the price the info and diagrams are suffice. If your looking for a complete break down of every part buy a shop manual for $150

Arrived on time, very detailed and can read clearly. Most reproductions have grainy pictures but this one is very clear and easy to navigate.

While this provides a lot of useful information, it does not quite make it as a "shop manual." For example, the electrical diagrams refer to "early" vs. "later" versions of certain tractor models, but it does not provide any indication by serial number or other identifying marks as to which is which, nor does it point out the very few circuit changes that could lead to more rapid identification. It would also be helpful if it reinforced the schematics with photographic representations of some of the special parts which are unique to these machines. The same can be said about most of the text. While it is helpful for disassembly and reassembly, it does not go into sufficient detail for troubleshooting, measurements to help with replacement or remachining of parts, etc., which can be frustrating when servicing older machines. This may be a necessary manual to obtain before servicing these machines, but it leaves too many questions unanswered.

very thorough detailed explanation of repair. this the second manual i have used and both are very good. first to rebuild the 855 engine. it had just too many greasy finger marks and some pages stuck together. thinking of laminating pages to prevent above for rebuild of transmission of second tractor.

Easy to use, and covers everything. Reassembly is difficult if you are rebuilding a whole engine though lots of jumping around.
