This is such a convinient little tool to use for at-home blow outs and for blow drying your hair in a way that really eliminates frizz. Of course, you can do the same with a blow dryer and round brush--but this product is the two-in-one version of that, and cuts so much of the styling time out that it is well worth the purchase. I've never tried the popular competitors that sell the same type of product, but I've had other Hot Tools products before and they feel like they are pretty durable and good quality. Thus, I opted for this over the others.I've had it for a few months now and haven't noticed any extra damage to my hair or wear-and-tear of the product itself like bristles falling out. My hair is naturally wavy/frizzy, but comes out super sleek after styling with this product. You twist the bottom to turn it on, and it has a lower setting and a higher setting. The higher setting does get pretty hot, so be careful touching the metal edges. It's pretty noisy, but I'm not sure you could make something like this much quieter.I will admit I didn't read the manual thouroughly, so I'm not sure if they included instructions for cleaning. Food for thought, though, this is probably more difficult to clean than a round brush since you cannot fully submerge it in water/vinegar/soap/whatever. I do use styling products before using this, and I haven't noticed a buildup too bad on the bristles yet, but when I do I will have to figure out a more innovative way to get it 100% clean.Otherwise, this is such a cool little innovative product that helps to cut down on time to get ready and really promises frizz-free results with a small learning curve!

It usually takes forever to dry my hair! Using this hair dryer has cut my time literally in half. I can style my hair while I dry it to which is really great so I don’t really need to use additional heat to style. I really like that. It is lightweight so my arms don’t get tired.

This tool is amazing. It makes you look like you've went to a salon for a blow out. My daughter has curly/dry/frizzy hair and it truly eliminates the frizz. Very durable and a good product. My daughters hair comes out straight and so smooth. It is noisy and can get very hot so be careful. It doesn't take long at all to style her very curly hair.

I was looking for a brush/blow dryer combination tool and this one worked perfectly. The packaging was clean the first use was very straightforward and simple. I have very long thick hair and this brush dryer thoroughly dried my hair with ease and left it shiny and silky. Great product.

If you have natural kinky hair this brush does a really great job at getting your roots straight before a silk press. There are so many different versions of these on the market and I thought I’d have to spend a lot of money for it be effective on my hair. This is a great bang for your buck and I have no desire to try a different one. Here’s why I like it.1. The temperature settings are at the bottom of the brush around the base. You won’t accidentally change the setting while you’re using it.2. The bristles are soft. I thought the bristles would be hard and scrape my scalp but it actually feels really good because they are flexible. I didn’t have any issues with it yanking all my hair out, which was my main concern.3. It definitely gets hot enough to blow your hair out but not so hot that you feel like you’re burning all your hair off. This is important to me because I’m usually planning on flat ironing my hair right after this, and that’s a lot of heat. My didn’t feel dry and brittle after. Also, I could leave the brush sitting against something right after use without worrying about it burning whatever its touching.4. It’s comfortable to use and not heavy. You don’t have to think too hard about it. The twisting motion you do is very simple.Definitely try this if you like to wear your natural hair straight. I also wear a kinky straight u part wig and I was able to use this on the wig with no issues. It was great at getting the roots super straight.

I’ve bought this hair dryer twice so that is a testament to what a good job it does. It’s not a high quality product though. I replaced the first one that I had for about 18 months because almost all the bristles had fallen off. The motor worked great, but the temperature is so high that it was hard on the bristles.At that point I would have given the dryer 5 stars based on the quality/price and want a great job it does on my hair. As a 70-something who colors her hair, I really didn’t see any hair damage even after the long usage.I’ve had the replacement for less than 4 months and I know it’s not going to last. At the high temp and on high the motor continually stutters. At the low temp on high the motor is fine, so it’s somehow related to the temperature. I’ll continue using it until it dies. My hair looks great so I’m not sure whether I’ll buy a third one and cross my fingers hoping the problem I have now is just a fluke.
