I’m so happy I tried this shampoo and conditioner set! The almond and shea butter scent is light and pleasant, not too strong. My hair feels soft, clean, and hydrated without feeling heavy or greasy. I love that it’s sulfate and dye-free, so it’s gentle on my color-treated hair. Plus, the ingredients are naturally derived, which gives me peace of mind. Great value for the size!

I’ve been using the Native conditioner and soap and really like them overall. They both smell so good—fresh without being overpowering—and I love that they’re Yuka-approved and made with clean ingredients. The conditioner feels great in my hair and leaves it soft, but I do have very dry hair, so it’s not quite moisturizing enough on its own. I pair it with a deep conditioning mask, and that combo works perfectly. Definitely a solid choice if you’re ingredient-conscious and don’t mind adding a little extra moisture on the side!

The scent is lovely, and the product is gentle on my hair and prevents build-up. I appreciate that it contains no harsh chemicals. A little amount truly lasts a long time, making it economical. My curls respond positively, and I’m purchasing it again.

I have thick hair and overactive oil glands, so I wash my hair every morning. My scalp is also picky about what shampoo I use. Most shampoo’s will cause my scalp to start itching after a couple of uses. I used to use Dove shampoo, but would have to switch from ‘moisturizing’ to the ‘repair’ bottle every month to keep my scalp happy. Any longer and it would start itching terribly. After a bout with cancer, I wanted less chemicals and found one that I have been able to use for about 3 years now! I am looking for a little change so I tried this. I used it for about 3 weeks without any itching. It feels very different when you put it on your scalp. Almost like you don’t have enough to spread on your whole scalp, but then it suds up very thick. The conditioner is also strange feeling. When you rub it together on your hands, it feels like it soaked right into your hands and there’s nothing left to put on your hair. It also does not leave your hair feeling smooth as you rinse it out like most conditioners do. I was skeptical when first using both. But my hair looked nice when it dried. The reason I have switched back to my original products is because my hair started feeling very heavy. Like this was causing buildup on my hair. My husband is still using it though. He likes it very much.

I have baby fine strands of thick oily, damaged ends hair. It’s the worst damage I’ve ever had due to all the different colors I’ve tried coloring it to with all the bleaching first. I was using bonding sets but I wanted to try these. I wish I had gotten the coconut vanilla but I got this one. This one works though cuz like I said I have fine hair. I had to shampoo twice cuz my hair was super oily on day three of not washing it. It sudded better on the second wash. The conditioner made it feel silky in the shower and after rinsing. I air dry my hair. It felt clean, light, and silky soft. It has body, I didn’t get oily immediately like I usually do. The fragrance is too light to fawn over. I really like these. Although I will probably go back to beauty love planet because those work just as well, are natural, and smell great for longer on my hair. This is a good product though and works better than the bonding sets I was using before this. I will buy again at some point cuz this loves my hair! And that’s what’s important to me.

Didn’t smell like vanilla, but does have th is slightly watery, green smell. I guess that’s the cactus flower? It’s not unpleasant, was just hoping for stronger vanilla smell. It doesn’t last either. I can smell it if I put my hair directly to my nose, but it doesn’t have a smell otherwise. However, this shampoo is incredibly high quality. It is a thicker consistency and suds up incredibly well. I have shorter, wavy hair that has a tendency to be a bit oily and this shampoo has helped to balance that out. Love the flat, rectangles shape. It helps to sit up easier in the shower. Wish the smell was stronger and vanilla. I haven’t used the conditioner (hair too oily) so I can’t speak on that. If the smell isn’t an issue, this is a high quality shampoo.
