I wondered if these bun makers could work with my thick, long hair, they take a bit of practice, but yes one will roll up my hair into a neat bun, fab! I recommend watching a few YouTube videos on how to put these on your hair, but once you know, it’s fairly straightforward. I have a lot of hair, so I needed to clip my bun in place with a few bobby pins, but the bun does stay in place and is easy to undo too. Great idea for a quick and neat hairstyle that stays in place.

You need thick hair to use these which defeats the object

The instructions miss out a couple of steps so I watched YouTube vids - see Comments. I still haven't got the knack for a neat bun. Fine if you have someone to do it for you, as I've discovered, but I rarely have that luxury. The "wand" is also short compared to others you can buy, which can make a difference depending on how long your hair is and/or how thick it is.

Easiest and tidiest bun I have ever worn! I saw this advertised on Facebook and thought why not just give it a go.. I have a job interview coming up and want to look tidy but simple my hair is really long. I did use an extra hair scrunchy over the top because my hair is layered and spiked out a little bit. Stays in place all day. Already want to buy a new one as back up just in case!

I have long thick hair. It takes lot of effort to put my hair in a bun updo. But with this bun maker it literally just seconds to do. It wasn't easy the first couple of times but once you get the hang of it, it's so easy.

I love this type of bun maker - snap band - because I have to wear my hair in a bun every day at work and I don't have time to waste to arrange my hair daily. It's a minute's job in the morning and my hair is all tidy in a lovely bun. Very easy to use, very good quality compared to similar products. Exceptional value for the money.

Simple & easy to use, just got to make sure you work out which side up to use & that can take a few attempts. I make a pony tail first & as as my hair is mid length it was easier if I wet down the pony tail a bit to keep it all in better. Really pleased & will be using on my beach holiday in a few weeks.
