I’m loving bucket hats this year, and this is one of my favorites. The brim is just big enough to shield my face from the sun. The fabric and stitching are durable. I can fold it up to tuck it in a bag, and it doesn’t wrinkle. I’ve noticed no smell. I have a smaller than average head, and the hat is a little big for me, which is fine with me because it doesn’t smash down and ruin my hairstyle.

I'm not the pickiest shopper. I've worked in retail before - clothing retail specifically. I understand that sometimes clothing smells a little weird when it comes out of the packaging. But this hat smells specifically like mildew and the smell is so strong it makes me gag. The hat itself is okay if a little on the small side for an adult male head. I will give it a thorough washing (or two) and I will report back here if it doesn't help.
