Cangshan TN1 Series 1021936 Swedish 14C28N Steel Forged 3-Piece Starter Knife Set with Wood Sheaths

I purchased these as a gift for my son in law who is a very talented chef. I was a little nervous choosing but I did much research and trusted my selection. He loves the sharp, precision cuts of the blade as well as the balance and comfort of the handle.

There is no way this is Sandvik steel, as claimed in the marketing page. I bought these just over one year ago. They have never seen the inside of a drawer, are ALWAYS hand washed and dried. The chefs knife rusted and is effectively useless now. I would not waste money on this set nor any of their knives.

These are great knives. Very comfortable in the hands. High quality and a great single forged design.

You get a lot of knife for your money here. These are incredibly sharp. We’ll so how the Swedish steel holds up, but I think if you take care of them and hone them occasionally they’ll stay that way. The little wooden magnetic knife sleeves are awesome. Also, they are gorgeous to look at — Such a clean, Simple design. Having said that, despite the aesthetic appeal the handles aren’t the most ergonomic, which is why I give these 4 stars.But, honestly, This is an incredible knife set an incredible value that’ll Work for beginners and nervous cooks alike.

I like using a magnet strip for my knives and these come with cases that are made for each knife.
