These blinds are wonderful. They went together really easy. They slide perfectly and the print on it is very nice. I would definitely recommend them and I am buying two more for my other two windows. The customer service was great.

I have five older slanted roof skylights and wanted blackout shades. I followed the instructions for measuring and ordered one shade to try it out. It arrived in Rhode Island from China much sooner than I expected. It was very easy to put together and required no adjustments. The quality is excellent and it works great! I'm ordering four more!

Overall, I am pleased with these window shades so far. The customization process when ordering was fairly straightforward, and the company sent me a message to double-check/confirm my measurements before starting to fulfill my order. When I received the item, it came in two separate packages a few days apart, and everything was nicely wrapped and padded in thin foam and bubble wrap. Unfortunately, my shipment was missing the mounting screws, but I should be getting some sent out to me soon. Even though I selected "No I don't need default deductions" in the customization form, they still did make the frame 1/16" smaller than my requested dimensions in both width and height, so I don't know why they put that option in the form if they were just going to do it anyways. The setup/installation is really easy, and it just took me a little bit of messing around with the adjustment screws to get the shades to sit straight and slide smoothly. The adjustment screws in the four corners are made of very cheap plastic though, so you have to be very careful and gentle when making adjustments to ensure you don't strip the screw, but luckily they do provide 3 replacement adjustment screws. I don't love the look and feel of the handles - I really like the inset / "invisible/hidden" handle I've seen on some other window shades like these, but we went with these since they offered the dual shades feature. One other slight downside - I purchased another window shade like this one from another company (that one was only light filtering or blackout, they didn't offer the dual shade option), but that window shade from the other company came with a thin adhesive foam strip that could be used between the frame of the shades and the window opening to ensure a snug fit/installation as well as block out any light that could get through around the frame - this company didn't provide that with the shades, so I decided to purchase other adhesive foam strips to use - not a deal breaker, but something I wish had been included. A minor aesthetic issue is that the corner covers aren't the same color as the frame. The shades do look quite nice, and we really like having the feature of having both light-filtering white shades and blackout white shades. The shades themselves do seem somewhat fragile/delicate, so I hope they hold up over time. This product seemed a little overpriced to me, but as long as they continue to look nice and function properly for a long time, I will be happy with this purchase!

Love it; just exactly what I needed

Desperately needed something to block or filter out the intense sun from a south facing skylight. Also wanted something to serve as a screen for when I wanted to open the skylight for ventilation, but not allow bugs in. After searching several sites and numerous Amazon options, this seemed to fit the bill the best.This product is lightweight, very attractive and well made. It is simpleto put together — just slide the side rails into the top and bottom screen sections, then turn the corner screws to adjust the cord tension for the screen sliders (see last photo). It forms a neat, lightweight unit that can then be placed into the skylight opening for attachment.My skylight opening had slightly irregular dimensions (+/- 1/8”) so I ordered it with the -0.1” deduction, which worked perfectly. I also used adhesive backed foam around the frame, giving it a snug fit and blocking any light from the edges.*Note: The frame arrived without the holes in the side rails - needed to screw into the skylight sides. I contacted the company and they offered to send a replacement at no charge. However, I was able to use my Dremel to drill the holes myself, so that was not necessary.I did not order the adjustment pole, nor did I attach the handles, as the shade is easily reachable and I liked the clean look without them. There are slots along the edges of both shades, and the edges can overlap slightly.I am extremely pleased with the final result. The shade does a great job in blocking out all light, or filtering the light, as needed. The screens slide smoothly, while also remaining in place (see comparison photos).*Final word: The company was excellent to communicate with. They reach out, upon receiving the order, to clarify measurements and any other details. They also communicate about the production and delivery timeline. I ordered this on May 27, with a delivery estimate (from Amazon) of June 11-25. The product was delivered on June 3! Produced and delivered, from China, in 7 days.Overall, I am extremely impressed.
