Perfect for water butt taps
This 15mm ID x 20mm OD tube fits our water butt taps perfectly. Initially I was concerned on arrival as the packaging was tight and the tube kinked. However I straightened this out by squeezing the tube and leaving it flat overnight. Distortion is now minimal and there are no nasty kinks or leaks. This is the advantage of silicone over PVC or rubber etc tubes or hoses which would leak under such treatment. It is flexible so easily slips over the taps yet grips. Twist to remove and go on to the next water butt! No faffing about with hoseconnectors or circlips! A little expensive compared to other tubing but probably not compared to specialist hoses. But worth it for the convernience.

Used it to form a seal between Belfast sink and quartz worktop. Gap to big for silicone filler.

Tough but flexible, chemically inert, temperature stable no seams
I had discovered a leak from several places in a gas boiler condensate pipe run. It was very awkwardly placed with multiple joints badly fashioned and obviously poorly tested! My plumber said he could replace it, but he would use similar materials to those that had failed i.e white stiff jointed PCV pipes. The low pressure, non ideal gradient run, inaccessibility and intermittent flow makes testing tricky.I used this flexible pipe to form a push fit INTO the start of the existing pipework and then it bypassed all the leaks and navigated awkward bends with ease. No seams or joints to leak. Long enough to reach the outside drain in one run.On inspection all seems to be well and the area is drying out. Not cheap but problem solved for the long term. I'm not anticipating any surprises. Well pleased.
