Excellent set of speakers, works well in medium sized room of 15 X 15 feet. Strictly for private listening. It's not a party speaker cause it has limited volume - more than sufficient for a mid sized room, but it's strength lies in delivering sharp accurate sound response with lots of bass, if needed. It has tight frequencies that can turn mediocre songs exceptional. I like the overall effect. You can tweak the bass and treble to your liking, so there is something for every one. You get frequencies that are missing in similar powered party speakers and there is no digital manipulation or artificial enhancement of frequencies - the sound is natural - augmented by the solid wooden casing. In a crowded room, however, the sound dynamics diminishes considerably. Ideally the speaker should be kept in a corner, with a minimum distance of 3 feet between the two towers. The listeners should be facing right in front of it for a maximum sound experience.The overall finish is par excellence and the sound controls are located conveniently. There is an aux-in option apart from FM, USB and blue tooth. Power cable is long enough, additionally an aux cable is also provided. I received two sets. The speaker packaging is great with separate & sturdy cartons for each speaker.I found the speakers not suitable for outdoors, there is a loss of power and the sound quality is compromised, but then, they were not designed for outdoors. Keep in mind the speakers are not water proof and are strictly for indoors. They require mains power supply and is not chargeable. Has to be plugged into a AC socket.A remote is also provided which requires 2 AAA batteries. I did not get them so I had to purchase them separately. Remote works well. You can change songs from USB pen drive or SD Card by manipulating the numerical keys. By pressing a particular number you get that song. Can be used for changing radio stations as well.Great product at an affordable price.

Obage DT-2425 is yet another surprise 'MakeInIndia' product (like 'Signature Acoustics'). The build quality, functionality and sound quality are surprisingly impressive for its price.Though purchased primarily for watching video content such as Movies & YouTube reviews on the 4K TV + Amazon FireTV Stick 4K combo, it's also pretty good for listening to audio (music, speech).Obage DT-2425 is certainly not for the typical bassy loud sound lovers. But it's certainly recommended for those who prefer sound clarity, with a reasonable amount of loudness. The dialogs in movies can be heard clearly, while the bgm can also be experienced without any distortion, even at the highest volume setting (which could be more). Similarly, in YouTube videos with voice and music, the track / stereo separation is clearly heard. In terms of bass, it has certainly got the thump but not the overwhelming boom of a separate sub woofer, which is acceptable for the fantastic price.The elegant yet rugged looking build quality gives confidence for a long shelf life. The remote is lightweight and functional. Addition of digital inputs (optical, HDMI) will be useful but are not present in this model.Kudos to Obage for making such high quality, yet affordable 'MakeInIndia' audio products and Amazon for bringing it to customers who may've never heard about the brand!

I’m writing this review after more than a year of using this product and the fact that i gave 5 star implies that I’m really satisfied with the speaker set.And remember, these are budget speaker set and the review is in reference to the budget range this falls in.Now to the point, pros:1. Excellent sound quality for the money paid2. Build quality is flawless3. The remote is apt and elegant with all the required functions4. Component quality and optimisation is one of the best I’ve seen (this includes the drivers and the amp)5. This speaker set punches way above its price range, no regrets buying these6. The most important one, Obage is an Indian start up and they are doing really great job in trying to bring the quality Active speaker range to the Indian mass marketCons:Really none at this price point!Overall Verdict:I got these as a gift for someone and I’m really happy i did! These have been serving flawlessly since more than a year now and of course have gotten better after the initial burnin period of close to 90 hrs.I world recommend these or any of the Obage/Omeewa products to anyone looking to buy speakers on budget. And believe me, you will be surprised!All the best to Obage team!

1. Built quality and overall appearance good. 2. The loudness is less when connected with front line in; when connected with Bluetooth, loudness is ok. 3. Bass is not tight , improvement is required to make bass tight . 4. Overall volume is OK to fill a 10X12 room. ok for personal use, it cannot serve party mood. 5. Depending on the songs played, mid range becomes muddy. 6. Remote and button functions are little sluggish... still manageable 7. Of course it is not correct to compare with audio receivers like Denon/Yamaha/Onkyo etc, but surely if you have tasted sound from those receivers , one will be disappointed on sound quality and depth. 8. This review is based on songs /YouTube channels played from Lenovo vibe android Phone. 9. Overall rating 70/100.I didn't return the product. Good FM reception is there...so using it. For general use it is good.
