I originally purchased the 2.5 diameter rope for our home gym since my husband and I are in pretty good shape and workout consistently. I wanted a pretty heavy rope since that is what we were used to having in our old gym before converting our garage into a gym. I ended up returning and purchasing the 2 inch diameter rope simply because the grip on the 2.5 rope was HUGE and I couldn’t fit my hand around it to get a good enough grip and really move the ropes. I had my husband try it out, he’s 6’1 200 lbs and larger-framed and he even had a hard time griping it well enough to feel like he was moving the ropes and getting an efficient workout. With that being said, the width on the 2 in rope is great, it’s definitely not as heavy but still a great cardio workout. The ropes are really durable and great for using in the garage or outside. The only reason I deducted a star is because I feel that the 2.5 inch could have been made with a tapered grip and having the large grip limits the use to a very, very small population. Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  You will need something sturdy to mount the provided straps or wrap your rope around. I saw one guy use a couple of kettlebells. I anchored one of the straps to my squat cage and went straight to using my new battle ropes as part of my training regimen. I love the quality and versatility of this product. I would recommend it to the beginner and the experienced athletes for an all around workout.

This is a good product with a little mishap. Not sure if it counts as false advertising or not. But it says Pro Battle Ropes. Not Rope. Ropes is plural suggesting there are 2 of them. The image looks to be like there are 2. The product is fine, but i was expecting two ropes. When I looked to see if they had the same product for the same price, they didn't have any more in stock at the same price. SO to add another rope was going to cost 65-70 dollars instead of the original 50 dollars. I may have gone with another product had I known there was only 1 rope.

I spent a lot of time looking at various options for battle ropes, both 1.5 inch and 2 inch diameter. I ended up ordering the 2 inch rope, 40-feet long. This BR was definitely on the expensive side but the quality is worth it. The handles are semi-hard shrink-wrap rubber and cover about 10" of the rope at both ends. They are very easy to grip and seem like they will last a long time. The 2" diameter rope is quite flexible but also heavy for maximum workout effort. The rope is completely concealed inside a tough nylon fabric sleeve for protection. This was important to me because I use it in my home gym with a concrete floor which eventually could damage the rope. The BR also comes with two attachment straps made from seatbelt type nylon strapping with loops. These work great for attaching to a D-ring, a carabiner, an eyebolt, around a steel pole, around a workbench leg. Anchor hardware is not included.I have used this for several traditional BR exercises and I've also hung it from the ceiling for climbing & grip exercise. The nylon sleeve over the BR makes climbing a bit tougher since you slip just a bit on each grab, but it works fine. Overall this is exactly what I wanted, 5-stars.

I have a small space so I bought the 30 ft, 1.5. Very good quality. I highly recommend this brand. Now it’s time for me to get back to exercising 😊.

I absolutely love these battle ropes,i just took off the protective sleeve they are durable regardless and i think since im a small ripped 57 yr old they needed to be a little lighter.But with or without the sleeve this is an outstanding product i use 5 days weekly;y Definitely a bargain for the money

Ropes are an easy way to increase the intensity of any workout! They are versatile and easy to manipulate. I live in Phoenix and keep mine outside, without issues, so far, I haven't had them through the summer yet. I do like the lining that covers the ropes. The weight is good, not too heavy, but will force you to work. I appreciate the strap and clip that is included so that I can attach it to my fence and don't have to install any hardware on a wall or my house. Length is perfect for me, it's about 30 feet total, so 15 ft when using. The grips are great too, not too big for me to hold while training. I'm 5'2"

Very high-quality Rope. Way too heavy and long for me but perfect for my husband. He's even having a little bit of a problem with it and he is a 240 lb 6 foot bodybuilder. I am a bodybuilder as well but I am 5 foot 2 and I'm having a very difficult time with the Rope being it's so long and heavy. You will definitely get a workout with this rope

Great quality. Glad I decided to spend the extra dollars, though I'm sure there are more expensive ones out there, these are definitely superior to the more budget ones... the protective sleeve is great protection. I only got the 30' ones for my home gym, but I'm sweatimg just after a few min. The handles are very durable as well. The anchor straps are just two loops and a carabiner.. but it's good, let's you attach how you want to depending on what set up you have. Overall, great purchase.

Good quality but wish I bought the 40ft length. Seems like these will last for a long time even though I’m using them in my garage on concrete.

Have only used them for 2 weeks, but the overall quality has been oustanding so far.The handles are comfortable and easy to grip.Would definitley recommend this product to anyone looking for Battle Ropes.
