Not bad, Even for a TREE-GUY
The media could not be loaded. I got the forester bar and chain combo, For my mild-mod-woodsported' 385xp Husq'.. Put it on couple months ago. It fits the saw perfect, -Large-mount husky. I figured, well either the tip will blow out, or something. But nope. I would recomend greasing the tip, and soaking the bar and chain in bar oil, with it just snug.. Start the saw, give it 1/8th-1/4 throtle ler it spin slow for 10-20 seconds.. give a few revs. Shut off let cool, pour' a lill more bar oil on it, and re-snug chain.. I do this with all new saw bars/chains, and maybe it helps, -proper oil-break in..maybe..IDK..But I Keep this saw in the truck for felling, bucking, stump cuts w/ big oaks, maples, and bull/white pines. And its not bad at all. Its gotten used pretty good since i put it on.. As a few others have said. Its NOT SKIP-TOOTH CHAIN. Its regular, full comp or regular sequence...still cuts OK.. The Oiler' hole is a bit small, for larger saws.. But it does work. The tip, seems too be changable, and does seem like it has a bit of a gap, with the bar. But didnt seem too effect performance. Dosnet feel loose. Bore cuts fine. I was running a 8 tooth drive sprocket, w/ 20" bar, But this chain is full-sequence, and actually a bit too sharp from factory, so i put the oem 7th drive sprocket on it, Too get beck some power, vs the 8th for speet, smaller bars, soft-wood..And my saw is getting a bit tired after working with me in the tree service for past decade. The chain is more of a budget chain, But very similar too other upper end full chisel brands.Like any chisel chain, if you hit a rock, or metal, Its gonna hurt it. It looks too be full chisel, which is good and bad.. Good, when sharp, bad when it hits any dirt, pebbles, etc. The positive is, its no harder or softer then other brands, and cleans up nice with a good new 7/32" round file. Ive only had too touch up the chain 3-4x in past couple months, (mainly getting it rite again after hitting metal the 2nd week using it. Its not a bad chain, But skip-tooth would be alot better. I dont usually need anything bigger then a 20" here in Northeast, but for the price of the ba & chain, its nice too have a 24" for makin facecuts, bore cuts, nd bucking bigger logs like white-pines, oaks.. If you want a 24" bar too have, or too use, and are kind of on a budget. This is not a bad deal. I would buy again. if your buying this for your saw, Id suggest grabbing a skip-tooth chain too have. I can see this bar lasting almost.. as long as any other bar, as long as your oiler works good, You grease the tip, and use proper bar oil, not used motor oil.. I was waiting for the bar too rust, or start too chip. But the laminate on it is pretty good. The bar seems too weigh the same, maybe even a bit lighter then a oem 24".. If your a pro, youll prob get a good month or 2, every-day use. I drilled out my oil' hole a bit larger on mine. I noticed in big logs, longer cuts, HI- SAP and Heat, the chain does start too dry out a bit.. Turn your oiler up too max, and reem/drill the hole out for the oiler, and helps it alot. Not the best.. But not bad at all.I wouldnt recomendt this combo for a begineer. Its def' got the ability too kick-back, especially with how aggressive the chain is. And it neds too be cleaned, dressed, blown out with air, tip greased after every few tanks..(typical chainsaw TLC)Also after the first tank, even though' it was still sharp, I hit' it with a new file, too get it the way i like. It really made a difference.. It was almost too sharp (new), Or the rakers are down .30,.35 thou' -low from factory. I dont think id recommend this combo for a everyday, logging, saw. But for the serious firewood cutter, or the tree-guys, that only use a big saw 2-3x a week. It works. looks like a $160 bar. Either way.. For a 24" bar & chain.. Too get you too work, its a deal. -saw in video is 385xp,(big-bore 372xt) mild porting. w/ REDBEARSAWS stack for 2" pod filter..

Good value,
This is not really a pro bar and chain but for homeowner use and medium work this is a good value!I bought the bar and chain as used like new for a substantial discount! It was a new bar and chain! Thanks.

Fit my Husky 372xp very well.
Chain was in oiled packaging and good and sharp, have not cut with it yet, but seems like a very well built product, install was simple on 372xp.
