HELIOS 44m Russian Lens Canon EOS EF Mount 100 70 80 6 D 7D 5D Mark II III

*I shoot mostly 4K video, on both Canon and Sony Full-Frame cameras, with EF-Mount lenses. (I use a Metabones EF-E Mount Adaptor on the Sony A7RII)I just received this lens yesterday. I haven’t been able to shoot with it yet, but here are my initial impressions:I’m happy to report that the lens I ordered arrived much faster than expected (Shipped from RUSSIA to California/USA).Lens was well-packaged. Included a front lens cap, DID NOT INCLUDE A REAR LENS CAP.Front and rear lens elements look to be in near-perfect condition. However, the interior of the lens is filled with dust and debris. (I’ve not yet shot with the lens, or determined if this dust/debris will appear on the image/affect image quality.The lens I ordered has an Canon EF-Mount installed. Once attached to the camera, the lens is VERY LOOSE. You can feel it shifting/moving against the flange/mount as you focus the lens. (This applies to both native EF-Mount/Canon cameras, AND using a Metabones EF-E Mount Adaptor for my Sony A7RII)I’ll have to run some tests this weekend to see if the loose fit, and/or dust & debris affect the image quality, etc.As of now, I’ve given this lens only a 2-star review. HOWEVER, if the loose fit, and dust/debris don’t affect the image/use of the lens, I’ll upgrade this review to 4 stars.
