Gorgeous Sound, Amazing Quality
Let me just say that I have owned allot of headsets and this one is by far leaps and bounds above the others. This headset delivers sounds I had never noticed in games, it's surround is amazing. Other headsets I have used are Turtle Beach X12's with the DSS2 proccessor, Sound Blaster 3D Sigma, Turtle Beach Atlas Titanfall (which is relegated to my XBOX One/PS4 now) and Logitech G930's. The closest headset of the others to this was the Turtle Beach Atlas Titanfall. Some Pros:- Amazing Construction (brushed metal)- Awesome Sound Quality (good lows, mids and highs)- Extremely Comfortable- Complete Sound cancelling from outside the headphonesA Con:- Complete Sound cancelling from outside the headphones (yes this can be a con if you are not able to fully immerse yourself in audio/gaming for long periods of time.I would definitely recommend anyone who is serious about audio or gaming and can afford it pick this up.

Durable, Bass, but tight grip
Great headphones over all. There are pros and cons to these type of headphones. They are meant for gaming. So the bass is more of a punch instead of a boom. After breaking in the headphones for 2-3 days the audio becomes more clear and more precise on reproducing sound. The vocals is well rounded for gaming headphones, the bass is very punchy/deep, and the over all sound is well deserving of a 4/5 for me. Now on to design. The cord seems to be durable with a lockable input on the headphones themselves which is a plus for most people. The inline mic comes in handy and works on phones or gaming consoles of course. The padding on the ear cups are nice and soft. But there's one con. The headphones will feel very tight and will bring discomfort if you plan on wearing these for 1-3 hours. But a little breaking in will loosen the grip on your head. Other pros are that these are very durable. The case is satisfactory and ill leave it at that. All metal construction is a major plus if your accident prone and quite a comfortable headband. If your looking for gaming headphones. Give these a try after breaking them in. You might enjoy them like i have.

You get what you pay for... NOT
Pros:1. very attractive design. Metal parts give that "premium quality" feeling.2. noise isolation mostly comes from bassy sound rather than cushions... that is acceptable.Cons:1. In less than a week I started seeing that "leather" bend started flaking off like it was on my previous headset for $14, except those worked a lot longer. On the first photo you can see it after 1,5 weeks. The good thing is that sleeve is relatively easy to replace with D.I.Y. one (second photo). Anyway, I think it's time to discontinue selling this headset.2. Sound quality is controversial: I understand that this is a gamer headset and the goal was to make shots and blasts more bassy, but bass comes in a trade of upper mids that are important when you listening for enemy moves. Nothing to say that listening to a regular music this way is a big disappointment and requires digital equalizer adjustments.3. This headset is bulky and you can't play for hours without feeling ear pain from pressure they make. Maybe this was designed as a "passive parent control" to not let kids play too much? Well I'm not a kid and to me it's a bug rather than feature.4. Proprietary audio jack socket on headset side is... yet another wheel invented. What for?! I never had or seen anyone on this planet having issues with regular audio jack... how I suppose to replace it when it breaks?! For this money I also expected to get a braided cord that even cheap headsets have these days, with this one It's hard to get rid of bends on rubber cord. Also I hear every touch and every move of this cord on my shoulder, plastic parts of mic are also wobbling, adding rustle.

Perfect Solution for Three Needs - Highest Recommendation!
This product was the perfect solution for me. I have a Tiamat 7.1 analog surround headset which is another great product, but very much unsuitable for use with a Mac either for audio or as a headset because of the assorted wires meant for use with a surround sound audio card, which an iMac obviously does not have. I needed either a USB or single plug analog headset to replace it. I also had a need for some high quality over the ear headphones (I also have some Razer Adaro earbuds which are excellent as well) and a stereo headset for use with my Xbox One. A single product to satisfy all three needs was the perfect solution. The price was gravy, I got these at a significant price reduction. I was wary of some of the reviews that complained of one side or another not working, but this has not been the case for me. I've used these cans with my iPod as well as my laptop to listen to music and watch movies and the sound quality is great. Just keep in mind that the reviews that suggest that maximum volume can be painful are absolutely correct. I've used these cans to listen to music and game audio on my iMac and they sound great. I have yet to try it with the Xbox One because I haven't found any retailers with a stereo adapter in stock but I expect that it will work great in this capacity as well. The MSRP of $300 seems a little high, but considering that these can be used as a legitimate replacement for three separate products that could easily exceed $500 justifies the cost. Any price reduction makes these a steal. The build quality is outstanding as is typical with any Razer product, and the carrying case is very useful. The Razer Kraken Forged Edition earns my highest recommendation.
