Worked great for brake lines on my 88 lincoln town car

Nice set
This worked great. Didn’t slip on the tubing at all

Satisfied for the price.
Bends and flares just fine. Only four stars because it’s a little meticulous ensuring the body of the flare tool clamps down evenly/flush together. When you clamp a line down to flare it and don’t make sure the body is flush it will cause the flare to be slightly crooked. Not ideal since I’m using it for conifer fuel line and the flare is the seal.

Not worth the money
This kit is overpriced for what it is, and it is horribly constructed. This is worse quality than a $25 dollar tube flare I had previously used.Brake lines slip through the clamp, from day one, no matter how tight it is tightened down (even using a wrench for leverage on the wingnuts to get it tighter). Even if I can get a flare started on the line, it ends up being a crooked flare and there has been nothing I can do to get a clean flare. The tubing cutter's blade chipped when cutting the first 3/16" steel tubing, and the handle "pulled through" after only a couple cuts. I have been able to continue using it, but I have to hammer the handle back onto the shaft and be careful when cutting. The only truly functional part of this kit is the tubing bender, although I would encourage you get a different bender that will allow for tighter bends, this one requires a section of tube that's far longer than others in order to get a bend.

Can't beat the price.
I bought this kit to remake the brake lines in my classic car. I had never done any line making before, but after watching a few videos on YouTube, I felt confident. I had no trouble using this kit to bend and flare new brake lines. I was concerned about the quality due to the price, but every piece performed just fine. Case is good quality, too.

I’ve used better, but it’s not terrible.
I use the extras in this kit more than I do the actual flare tool. I just couldn’t get it to work for anything but a single flare. The line holder is really secure on there, which is great, but it really tears up Ni-Cop brake line at the part where it was clamped on.The bender isn’t the tightest radius I’ve seen, but it’s good at what it does. The tubing cutter is by far my most used tool in the set. Its pretty good at what it does, really no complaints.

I’ve used it for one crossover across pumpkin with lots curves in line it worked great. Had to watch YouTube video on how to work for flaring part a tool once I figured it out it work great.
