Works great, gets very hot, tool holder is tippy.
This wood burner works great, but be very careful with the wire tool. That tool gets really hot and you can start a fire with it. The holder for the two burning tools is shaky so when I use it, I actually tape it to my work surface with painters tape.

IT can get very hot
I am a wood burner person. I have several wood burners. I bought this one to have as an extra one on my trips. I do like the many and lots of versatile tips , Some I may never use but a few I will use a lot. I like where I can set my temp and actually see the setting. However I will most likely use my other burners because I like the handle better.This was a good value for the money

Exactly what I was looking for!
This burner is perfect for all my wood burning and hat burning projects., being able to control the heat separately for the pens makes my projects go som much faster!

Doesn't hold heat in the pen
This machine worked great for a couple of months. It does not hold consistant heat on the solid or wire pen. A tip on the solid pen got stuck after using it and won't come off, thankfully a spare came so I can use that pen. The wire side over heats after little use. I can't get a good 4 inch line before it looses heat. The wire tip gets loose after a short time of use, once it gets loose you can feel electricity in the pen and have to stop using it and let the machine, pen and cord cool off completely and reset the tip. I have gone back to my Walnut Hallow for longer lines. I wanted this setup for the solid side and wire and the selection of tips. Personal opinion, if I chose another machine I would not do both on the same machine. I would do multiple wire tips instead. Overall I am dissapointed in the machine because it was supposed to be my "step up", instead it has frustrated me greatly. I waited to do my review because I wanted to see how well it worked overtime. I got it in October, by December I started having issues.

Should have bought from the beginning
I have had 3 different types of wood burner’s because I was just learning but let me save you money and time buy this one. It will cut half the work in half.
