Should have read reviews - rubbish and dangerous!
Doesn't cut well, blade is bowed and plastic frame is not sturdy enough for the job. Blade is never safe, even when in closed/packed configuration. Still far too easy to cut yourself when handling the item. Blade very easily extends beyond base of the frame and will cut into worksurfaces, or fingers when handling it. Do not buy, very unsafe!!!

Lightweight Guillotine
I like the fact that it folds for store and lightweight for movement but unfortunately it didn't make as clean a cut on a card picture mount. The cut was ragged towards the last 4 or 5 cms.

Does what it says on the tin
this was for my grandaughter for her exams. It is lovely, works well for her and her artwork

Doesn't do what it says it does
It doesn't accept 16 sheets of A4 paper - it struggles with even 1 sheet if set lengthways! It doesn't really cut well if the paper is widthways - there's always a couple of inches towards the bottom of the cut where it just bends the sheet or rips it at an angle rather than a clean cut.The blade is very sharp so I would have expected a clean cut every time but only if it's not A4 paper or you turn it so it cuts halfway and then cuts the other half.I suppose the fact that it folds up and the blade/handle does lock into place gives it the extra star but otherwise I am disappointed with it.

Won't Cut
The media could not be loaded. This item says it can cut 16 pieces of paper, the video shows just 3 pieces of paper, it doesn't cut, it just folds the paper down. Completely useless, and complete waste of money.Avoid Avoid Avoid

Disappointing
Bought this to replace my aging Guillotine.Was super sharp- even cut my finger withput realising I had until I saw the blood on my paper! so beware- its sharp!But in practice, when cutting more than 5-7 sheets it struggled to cope even when it states it has a 16 sheet capacity..... Don't believe it.If your only using it for a few sheets at a time this is a really good product but any more and it struggled- a bit too flimsy. Went back to my old but trusty guillotine!Requested and received my money back from Amazon upon return of product.Think carefully before purchasing but good for low intensity work.
