Finally a lid for Chemex
Been using a soft cotton dish cloth to cover my Chemex pot. My Parents were Chemex coffee drinkers. So that’s how I started drinking coffee. The pots makes the best coffee plus it’s a nice looking glass pot. So glad to find a lid. I always used a linen napkin to keep the coffee safe from dust etc.

Not practical
The lid is as advertised and it does provide a cover. The problem is it falls off when pouring and will splash in the cup. Yes, I am used to it, but guests get caught by the splash.

Fits and works as it should. I like the look of it and the color is nice. But it is made of layers of bamboo glued together I think, and the layers have started to come apart. This happened with about a month if daily use.I bought this to help keep coffee hot in a chemex. Maybe this would work better for cold coffee just to keep it dust free.

Bamboo Chemex lid
I replaced a black silicone lid with this bamboo lid. It fits perfectly.

Broken by steam.
Steam took a toll on this product. It started breaking off piece by piece within months.
