Going to admit it. I was skeptical. The pillow LOOKS like a standard pillow with a small “well” sewn in the center and I I just KNEW it was another try & fail product. - I was SO wrong!I had knee replacement surgery a month ago and have not been able to sleep more than 2 hours at a stretch a night because of knee pain/discomfort. I tried the pillow even with all my skepticism, I mean, it was here, right? At a certain point you are willing to try anything that may help. I have to say, last night was the first night since my surgery that I slept through the night. I remember turning over from one side to another a couple times, but, I went right back to sleep each time! And that isn’t even the best part! Every morning since surgery, when I wake up, my knee is EXTREMELY stiff which seriously exacerbates my (normal/expected) pain and discomfort. This morning that stiffness was HALF of what it has been! I am so glad I ordered this pillow!! Don’t let its looks fool you. This pillow supports my entire lower leg from ankle to knee and has given me the freedom to sleep on either side comfortably. I am having my 2nd knee replaced later this year and I am over the moon that I will have this pillow from the very start of my recovery! I highly recommend!!

After knee surgery, I needed a pillow to keep pressure off the surgical knee while it healed. I tried using a regular pillow but it was a constant fight to keep it in place while I slept. The groove in the center of this pillow allows each leg to settle into a perfect position for side sleepers, while at the same time keeping the pillow in place. I'm much more comfortable now and my sleep is greatly improved. 5 stars!

My boyfriend had back surgery a year ago and feels more comfortable with a pillow between his legs and this works perfectly. It is a lot softer than I was expecting, but he still likes it. It keeps him cool at night because of the material it’s made of, which is what he likes most. The only thing that I didn’t really like was that came wrapped in a plastic, but inside was another plastic with a paper in it, which seems like it was supposed to come airtight, but someone may have returned it and then I received it. So wash the pillow before using just in case, even though the directions do say to wash before first use.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This style was recommended by orthopedic surgeon and physical therapist. I have tried a firmer block-shaped product and found it to be uncomfortable. This pillow is working much better for me. It is long, soft, and easy to keep in place, The height of the pillow works well for my needs.

I actually used this when I had my knee surgery to put between my knees so the knees wouldn't touch each other. The pain of having them touch was not good. This pillow helped to some degree but my only complaint was that the pillow itself was too long. I know it's supposed to be used for sleep & it was definitely soft, but when I tried it for that, the groove in the middle didn't fit my neck very well. I guess this wasn't a good fit for me.

New review: turns out I was totally wrong about this pillow and you have to use both a reg pillow and this pillow to feel the difference. First off, it's firm and doesn't go flat. The seem thing in the middle offloads the pressure from the calf and back of my knee from my ACL surgery. It also keeps my leg centered and upright in good alignment where my leg can't naturally sag like it would and does on a regular pillow.This pillow is life. If you have any kind of knee surgery, this pillow is god send.Old review: I don't recommend buying this because it's a pillow one that you can get from Walmart. One you can get from any store that sells pillows. From $5 to the fancy ones up to $30. Save yourself the trouble and buy one of those from the store, they will be cheaper. This one has the same firmness as the $5 ones from Walmart. They are the same size as well. The only difference is this one has a divot in the middle.

The pillow works well between the legs for hip and back support. It is firm enough to keep knees apart and is easy to use. My pain relief was lower after the 1st night. It arrived on time and was well packaged.

Now I can rest at night comfortably.
