Rotary 6 Standard Bottle Stand - Optic Holder

This item is robust and, coming from Beaumont, I am confident that it will not fall apart. Having done my research, I had found several cheaper productions of the same item on Amazon, accompanied by reviews that indicate such devices are not as stable as expected. I certainly didn't want to risk smashing expensive bottles of spirits on a cheap prop; that is why I specifically looked for professional equipment from a Beaumont distributor.The item comes in several parts, well-packed in styrofoam. The box includes a round piece of material, with an underside adhesive, suitable for providing friction between the base of the stand (to which it is stuck) and the surface upon which it is placed. The stand must be put together and, as one reviewer has noted, there are no assembly instructions provided. I do not believe, however, that this could lead to any significant confusion. Screw the rod to the base (and stick on the material), the bottle brackets to the rod, and... well that's it. I was more concerned by a lack of guidance as to how to actually use the product (and how to do so safely) than I was by the absence of any assembly instructions. It may seem fairly obvious as to how to fit and remove a bottle with an optic into the stand, but users could do with a little reassurance. Fortunately, a few web searches reveal basic illustrated guidance, and even a video or two showing how to safely fit and change a bottle, etc. Before applying criticism here, it is worth acknowledging that this is a professional product, typically purchased and used commercially, so it is perhaps unrealistic of me to expect the simple kinds of documentation that I might find with a low key consumer alternative.Once the bottle stand has been assembled, all that remains is to fit the bottles. Optics must be purchased separately (see 5 X 25ml Beaumont Solo Classic Spirit Measure Bar Optic 3103), and there are a variety of optic measures designed for use with the provided bottle brackets. The brackets seem to hold bottles (and their optics) pretty well, and the stand feels reasonably sturdy, both when dispensing measures and when rotating. My only complaint is that the product squeaks when rotating; this should be resolved easily with a little WD-40, but a new product should not be squeaking. If I could instead deduct half a star for the squeaking I would, but once combined with the lack of assembly or safe use instructions, the loss of one star is, in my opinion, marginally justified. I am otherwise satisfied with the product's quality and reliability.Should any incidents (especially any in which bottles are smashed!) occur, I will be sure to update this review. But I do not expect that there will be any issues. I would happily buy another of these if it were needed.

Excellent product, I just need to buy replacement optics as most of them have broken after a year constant use in my bar.

Brought as a present for my husband. No assembly instructions with it but assembled anyway. Very good product does what it says. Would buy again and would recommendOnly 4stars because no instructions.
