Good value
Great value for the money and good quality. Has a long battery life and easy to use. It has lasted longer then any of my previous watches

Best Budget Fitness Watch
I love my Garmin Venu SQ. I was tired of the Apple and Samsung Ecosystem. This works perfectly with my Pixel phone, and I love being able to change the watch faces. The battery life is phenomenal, I can go days without charging the watch. Only downside I will say is sometimes I feel like I don't get the notifications and had to reset the watch notification system a few times. I like all the features that come with the app, so if you want a more fitness based watch with a few perks I would definitely get this! It also looks similar to an Apple Watch and has a fooled a few people!

Great device but the UX needs lots of work
I'm getting back into working out again, these workouts are going to be more complex and I wanted a tracker that would help with that. Before I go too far let's me say what I'm not into. I'm not into tracking hydration (at least not yet) or tracking sleep (I'm not a fan of wearing a device while I'm sleep). Like I said since I wanted to track more than walking, I wanted a device that had a lot of workout options as well as the ability to create custom workouts. When I saw this device I was so excited I couldn't wait to get the device.I'm technical person I don't really like to use documentation unless it's really necessary so for a device like this you shouldn't need a set of complex docs. Shortly after getting the device, I did my first workout. Everything seemed pretty simple to use but here's where things get complicated. I created a custom workout and it took over an hour to figure out how to get on my device so I could use it. The user experience is not good. Here's my break down:Device Useability: The device has a lot of options (at least for what I'm looking for) so someone who works out a lot there's a lot to dig into. So to me that's worth 5 starsDevice Battery: The device comes with lots of battery life and charging the device is pretty fast. Again 5 starsDevice Connectivity: After installing the Garmen Connect app connecting the device to the app is pretty seamless almost does everything itself. Once again 5 starsMobile App: The mobile app is pretty straight and simple. Again you guessed it 5 starsAdvanced Features: I haven't used all the advanced features but creating a custom workout is easy. Using the custom workout is not intuitive and takes way more work than needy. I could see how someone could get frustrated and give up. 1 star. I'm sorry for being so harsh but I can't tell you how frustrating it is to go through the process of creating what one might think of as a good workout only to feel like you can't use it.In summary, I would really wanted to give the device 5 stars but my experience with custom workouts took a big hit to my experience.

Happy
I'm very happy with this purchase. It's cute and functional. I'm able to get bands and covers for it to change styles and protect the glass. I love the gps. My priority is GPS and seeing my notifications from my phone. Ive had it for about 6mo. It foesnt take long to charge and the battery last a long time. The charge is shorter the more you use the gps. Screen displays can be changed in app.

Purchased for my daughter who didn’t want an Apple Watch
She likes that it’s limited to health tracking, and basic phone connectivity for things like notifications and message previews. She didn’t want the distractions of various watch apps that demand your attention or just duplicate functions already on the phone. The price was also half what even the most basic Apple Watch costs.

Trouble with phone & customer service
I have another Garmin that I use when I'm golfing, but wanted a simpler watch for an upcoming trip. I struggled getting the vibration to work when I got a text or incoming call. When I did a support chat with Charles, the support agent said it would be best to replace the phone. I told him about I was leaving on a trip on the 6th so would need the replacement by the 5th. Charles said the replacement would be delivered by the 7th. I then asked if I could use the current phone (without the vibration function) for my trip and return it when I got home in October. He said yes, and that I didn't need to actually return it at all. So I said ok to sending the replacement. What Charles didn't tell me is that the license would be disabled rendering this phone totally useless. So now I have no phone to take on my trip and a replacement phone that i guess I'll just have family return while I'm gone. What a totally disappointing experience.Garmin was not cheap, and was more expensive than other options I was looking at, but I thought it would be the most reliable option since I had a good experience with my golfing Garmin. Boy was I wrong

Solid Smart Watch
I've had this watch for a couple days now and overall it's a great watch. It has a long lasting battery. I recharge it every night and it's never below 87% at the end of the day. The heart rate monitor is very accurate and syncs with the connect app quickly. As a pedometer it does the job well and it helps me meet my step goals. I do wish that it would display images from my phone notifications. It was a useful feature on my old Samsung gear watch, but it's not a deal-breaker for me.The watch strap feels durable and lightweight. It's comfortable to wear. I can see this watch outlasting my Samsung gear watch.
